服务差，环境差，门锁坏了，没有的锁门，没有line没关系，因为那区就是没有的，可是没有wifi，没有水，发表出不满也是没有得到应该有的好回应。非常不值得去的一个地方！！！

I travelled with four Malaysian ladies who are extreme foodies and we stopped over at this villa while exploring different food markets in Borneo. It's quite a trek from KK (flight would be so much better) but well worth the road trip if you are staying for a minimum of two nights (which is what we did). ||||The property is beautiful with a stunning sea view. There are four bedrooms within the villa. We stayed in two rooms; mine upstairs and the four ladies in the room below. The ground floor bedroom could have easily slept 8-10 people and my room could sleep 2-4 (king bed and daybed). The ground floor room is adjacent to the swimming pool and from my bed upstairs there was the beautiful seaview. ||||The kitchen and dining area is in the middle of the villa and mirror ground floor/upstairs bedrooms on the other side of the villa (I'm not sure of the layout of these rooms but I'd expect it to be similar to where we stayed). ||||I agree with the other reviews regarding swimming (sea and pool), the good cooks (but very simple cooking which is fine with fresh seafood but only a basic curry/Malay sauce was offered which we thought would mask the freshness of the seafood purchased on our behalf so we ended up cooking the food ourselves), and side tours near the villa. ||||The one downside for me would be potentially sharing the villa with other guests. I think this villa is absolutely perfect for a private family/group gathering and would love to go back as it's truly blissful. However, the pool area is not that large nor is the communal eating area and I wouldn't enjoy being forced to share such a small space with strangers (although if you like meeting new people, it would be fine). As we didn't really know the villa set up, we were just really lucky that the other two rooms were empty. Now that I know, I wouldn't go back unless I could reserve the entire villa but if I could, I would certainly return. ||||Finally, you can visit local markets and have food purchased for you but I would also highly recommend doing wider grocery shopping in KK (or anything special you want bring along in your luggage) as well as bringing your own alcohol/mixers. They also don't have ice so we sent out our driver to buy bags of ice; crucial!!

We loved our 4 night stay at Serendipity Villa! The villa and pool are exquisite and right on the beach. As there are only four bedrooms, we had the place to ourselves for 2 nights which was great. The food was cooked to order and was delicious, especially the grilled fish. All of the staff bent over backwards for us and couldn’t have been more helpful. The tip of Borneo is only a short drive away-worth a trip to see the sunset. Thanks to all at Serendipity who helped us to have a perfect stay that well exceeded our expectations. We would highly recommend to others who want a bit of luxury at an affordable price. We would also recommend taking advantage of the villa’s excellent car hire rates as the villa is very secluded.

Looks absolutely stunning in a place of forested area. Aside from the good looks, this place is badly run down.
Shared kitchen is oily from the floor to everything that you touched.
Floor is dusty with signs of termite infestation and other bugs staying in the same room as us.
TV is not working due to astro satellite not installed? Yet they sell that facility to us.
Bbq pit is all broken.
Swimming pool is poorly maintain with algae and sand.
Shared toilet at ground floor, is poorly design with water not able to go to the drain and will floor the toilet instead.
No signal, can only rely on their wifi.
This place looks comfortable... only LOOKS comfortable.

This place is incredible. We got engaged here! ||You will feel like you are royals - we had the whole place to ourselves for most of our stay and can’t describe how incredible it is/ the beach that it leads onto- you will not see anyone else.||||We got a 3 hour shared van from KK to get here (search forums for how to do so) but a much better option would be to fly to nearby airport but I think flights are only on Mondays / Thursdays or something similar. The journey was so worth it when you see what a piece of paradise this was. I think it was our favourite all over Sabah and we stayed in about 4 places. It’s made up of four rooms in a villa like setting- urge you to ask for a top room floor- they are incredible. 4 poster beds, robes, balcony etc. The way food works is that there is a cook there (Rose in our case) and she will just cook whatever you want pretty much for breakfast/lunch/dinner. There is a menu but as we were getting a bit sick of eating so regularly we asked her for much smaller lighter portions. ||Definitely bring your own booze if you can! We went to a shop in KK and managed to find some gin and tonics. There are some beers here and will be restocked but if you want anything else bring before. ||We chilled out by the pool for a lot of our time here and also went to ‘the tip of Borneo’ via a taxi lady called Jenny - ask the manager about this. She also took us to Roby’s bar which you must go to just North of Serendipity. It’s an amazing little set up on beach- an array of very cheap cocktails and meals. Rustic feel and Roby who works there is so lovely. ||Amazing place to chill out at the end of the holiday, bluest water and whitest (emptiest) beach!!||Tip- if you want to just cook yourself just tell Rose- we got so sick of the same food and managed to find some pasta!||||WiFi great. ||||A serendipitous find, we want to come back (the most amazing sunsets of the whole trip too).

Hemos pasado dos días fantásticos en esta Villa. La atmósfera del lugar es maravillosa, hasta perdimos la noción del tiempo debido a sus increíbles vistas al mar. En esta Villa podrás desconectar del ruido de la ciudad y embargarte en una paz y tranquilidad que te hará cargar las pilas. ||||En la habitación teníamos una cama doble mirando hacia el mar y un sofá cama. También había un escritorio y televisión con canales por satélite así como dos aires acondicionados. Al llegar descubrimos que también te dan zapatillas para estar por la habitación, albornoces y toallas de piscina. ||||La temperatura dentro de la habitación era muy buena y además tiene un ventilador por si no te gusta el aire acondicionado. Nosotros dejamos la ventana semiabierta para escuchar el mar... ||||Por la noche, incluso uno de los días que llovió un poquito, se estaba muy a gusto y el aire era fresco. Sin duda es uno de los mejores sitios para respirar aire puro y disfrutar del paisaje. La playa es fantástica y además por la noche se ven muy bien las estrellas. ||||Para el desayuno hay dos opciones, asiático y americano. Nosotros pedimos el americano y estaba buenísimo. Al terminar el desayuno nos trajeron fruta cortada super refrescante. ||||El servicio es muy bueno y el personal es bastante atento. Además Kudat Riviera (la zona donde se encuentra esta Villa) es un sitio muy seguro, con seguridad 24 horas y donde nos sentimos muy tranquilos en todo momento. ||||A Serendipity Villa no le falta detalle, desde los productos de aseo que nos dieron, los libros que tienen disponibles, la atención por parte del personal. Todo ha sido maravilloso. ||||Sin duda repetiremos muy pronto. Ya sea para parejas o familias, recomiendo disfrutar de este lugar.
