Sean the owner is very talented and baked the cakes himself. We ordered the hummingbird cake, which was a banana pineapple spiced cake that was moist and super lovely!

The coffee was an aromatic Brazilian single origin and I enjoyed it very much. The earl grey tea was also brewed with love! All in, this cafe is definitely worth a visit!

Coffee Cafe Culture

This is fresh ground local slow poured coffee, not a rush to work coffee.

A place to cool down. Five star coffee and service.

-The cafe is like a hidden gem in the center of Carpenter Street,if you walk by the cafe,it looks like an antique shop,with the wood door design.
-The interior is very simple decorations and some fun paintings, but nice though.There a rack of books for reading.
-There are quite spacious for the seating area,less crowded with tables and chairs.
-The cheese cake is good and our drinks is ice latte also good.The smell of coffee is very nice,and thick taste.
-Price is affordable for everyone.

Excellent work! We ordered 2 types of beans for hand brews coffee, the boss is very pleased to offer us a wine glass for tasting the ice coffee.
We enjoyed the coffee here, nice music too!

The best specialized coffee in Kuching - beautifully robust & balanced. And yes - they have Oat Milk! The proprietor, Sean, also makes really delightful cakes too. Try the Basque Cheesecake, or the Banana, Chocolate & Peanut Butter Layer Cake.

Can say this is the best cafe ever!
Cakes & drinks are both nice, just a tad too sweet for me but understandable.
Music choice also damn on point, totally the best cafe i've ever been. Will visit again!

Zoey Coffee is a quaint little coffee shop nestled on Carpenter Street, right in the heart of a popular tourist area. Every cup here is handcrafted by the owner, and you can tell they put great care into every step of the brewing process, which is something I truly appreciate. It’s rare to find places where coffee feels this personal.

The lighting is on the dimmer side, which some might find adds to the intimate vibe, though it may not be ideal if you're looking for a bright, open setting. My coffee was a bit dark roast—a tad too strong for my taste—but if you enjoy bold, deep flavors, this could be just right for you.

Overall, Zoey Coffee is a unique spot that feels like stepping back in time. It's worth a visit if you're exploring Carpenter Street and want to experience a different kind of coffee culture.

Another lovely coffee place in town! Always a welcomed addition to our growing specialty coffee scene.

The fit-out’s a little more rustic, but cosy. Cakes were available although we didn’t try them. The service was very personal and at a leisurely pace, which was nice and relaxing. Most importantly, the coffee was excellent. On rotation here are single origin beans from various roasters across the country, for both pour over and espresso. We had a lovely citrussy Ethiopian Heirloom from Ghostbird Coffee. Will be back!
