View memuaskan...tetapi tandas kurang memuaskan,tidak ada pili paip n hose untuk kegunaan kencing n berak,terpaksa angkat air dari luar n tempat mandi dluar n flush tandas rosak n pintu tandas xbolah tutup rapat...lain all ok

I liked the location as it’s not too crowded and has easy parking. There’s a nice chilling space where you can enjoy the cold breeze with a view of Mount Kinabalu. Overall, the hotel is very clean, and the room’s interior design gives off a nostalgic 90s vibe. I was lucky to get a room facing Mount Kinabalu, so it’s the first thing I saw when I opened my eyes. Overall, I enjoyed my stay. The only minor inconvenience was needing to iron clothes at the lobby, which, as a Muslim woman, felt slightly inconvenient. However, I was okay with it. The service was good 👍🏼 I would happily choose to stay here again

Check out 1st June 24. Room luas dan selesa. Yang tak bestnya dekat tandas tiada kemudahan air paip untuk cuci lepas buang air besar n kecil. Paksa main angkut air dari singki letak dekat baldi. Agak menyusahkan! Water heater berfungsi, just old school punya style. Kena pandai pakai n adjust baru air panas. Tiada sediakan sudu kecil untuk buat minuman panas. Just sediakan cawan tapi tiada sudu kecil. Kalau dekat hotel murah seperti Oyo Hotel, ada juga TV, kat Hotel ni tiada sediakan TV, if ada budak kesian budak bosan sbb tiada TV mahu tonton. Tuala pula jenis nipis n size kecil. Part paling bahaya adalah tiada lampu kena pasang dekat luar gate dan sepatutnya untuk kemasukan ke hotel perlu ada safety pasang lampu untuk elak benda yang tidak diingini. If balik malam ke hotel perlu berhati² takut terlajak ke tempat lain. Sekian yang ikhlas.

I booked 3 rooms. We didn't sleep in the 2 rooms downstairs because they were too dark. But I just received a call saying that the light in one of the 2 rooms was broken. Shouldn't you check the room before checking out? Why didn't you check it before letting me check out? Why did you call me after I left to say that the light was broken and I needed compensation? And you didn't answer the questions I asked, but just told me that I would pay it back after I got the money. And the rooms have ghost that why we sleep in 1 rooms together... Is very disappointed

July 2024TL;DR: This place feels more like a meditation centre than a hotel, it will not provide you with supplements. It's a bare room. You need to bring toothbrush&paste and buy drinks somewhere as it is not provided. No tv and fan. No in-house restaurant. There are mosquitoes at the garden near afternoon, and the balcony at night, but there are no insects in the room (family room). In exchange you will get a very clear and vivid Mt Kinabalu view in the near-dawn morning (where there is no mosquito), a working shower with heater, concrete floor that reduces nearby noise, and cold foggy experience. Long: This place is within the fog path so you will get the foggy experience. You can also see Mt. Kinabalu at the right time and it looks quite close (e.g. dawn 6 a.m.). You can even see the electric towers and resthouse, it's that close. Moreover, this place is more like a meditation centre than a hotel. It is visibly run down probably since covid as that is also when the in-house restaurant got closed down. Considering my experience as a recurrent visitor of Kundasang, mosquito has always been the least of my concern. Somehow this place has lots of them. We got bit quite a lot in a short span of time. Undesirable / Cons: -No water kettle, no supplements (water bottle, coffee pack, toothbrush, toothpaste, etc.). Porcelain mugs are provided though-No in-house cafe/restaurant but nearby has a few (400 meters at least)-No tv, no fan but cold in general -Quite a lot of mosquito and moths outside at the garden place in the afternoon and at the balcony connecting the 2 buildings at night. There are no electric zapper.-Seems a bit run down at the garden. 2 broken board pieces on the floor for example. -It has no Qibla for muslim people, at least in family roomDesirable / Pros:-Big room. Not smelly-Is cement board floor-Big single beds. Not smelly-Clean bed. Fluffy cover.-Water heater is working for family room at least-Relatively clean inside room and at reception. No insects in room. No weird bugs around. -Has a table and chairs in room-Lots of electrical port -Wifi provided by hotel is strong (2.4Ghz and 5Ghz-Very near main road. So good road going towards the hotel-Aki-Aki trail starting point is nearby. Plan to go next time so no experience as of this reviewThis place is not too bad. Not too good either. Personally, I wouldn't place this as my top place for the foggy and view considering other options but I don't mind returning if necessary. It will sure be much much better to highly recommended with much needed renovation and have some methods to deal with those mosquito. p.s. There's a cute puppy that invites you at the entrance. 😂p.s.s. I saw a greater coucal gliding into the forest in the morning!

Room a bit old but still comfortable. Location very clear view of Gunung Kinabalu and easy access to road. Service was good, got problem with the water heater but they send staf a.s.a.p and fix it. The receptionist was great she even show me video of the room before i choose.

Location was okay but it’s next to main road and difficult to sleep for noise. Service is very bad, when we arrived they acted like there was no booking, I was confused how come they don’t know and acting surprised to see guests. Toilet inside room but can’t take shower you need to go different place for it. Water heater broken, they didn’t even provide a bottle of water, ad before 11am they start running and asking for checking out. Only good thing is that you can see Mt. Kinabalu from balcony. But overall poor services and facilities.

The host are friendly and all good. But I would like to suggest to prepare the tea and mineral water considering the place is quite cold. Overall good. Will come again
