A beautiful retreat near KL especially for couples I would say. Easy location.

The staffs and the entire team was really friendly. The even made a cute arrangement for our anniversary.

Ambiance is great, we booked a silver caravan stay, and it was totally worth it. They have cute small animals that walk around that brings out a animal friendly pet vibes.

Cute cafes, theater rooms, games, activities and so much more available. For us , we stayed 3days 2 nights and nothing went wrong. Everything was perfect. Highly recommended .

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Villa Takun, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. I stayed in the Anak Takun room, which is perfect for families—it comes with two spacious beds, a massive living space, and a private balcony pool that overlooks a breathtaking mountain view. Waking up to such a serene and picturesque scene was an absolute dream! <3 The ambiance at Villa Takun is peaceful, relaxing, and just what you need for a rejuvenating getaway. The service was top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff ensuring that every moment of the stay was seamless and comfortable. If you’re looking for a tranquil escape from the city, surrounded by nature yet with all the comforts of a luxurious stay, I highly recommend Villa Takun. Whether it’s a family trip, a couple’s retreat, or even a solo recharge, this place is a hidden gem that I can’t wait to revisit!

Pros-
Nice relaxing place surrounded by nature. Plenty of nice spots to take pictures. Staff were polite and attentive. Overall, it's a nice place for a short getaway from the city.

Cons-
For the price we paid, felt that there wasn't enough variety for breakfast. Eating the same food 2 days in a row was kinda disappointing. Room wise, could've included moisturizer/ face wash etc.

There are a few pro and con staying here:

Pro- Nice environment, instagrammable spot to take a lot of nice photos, the interior design is very nice too, staff is friendly and polite, the workshop was good too…

Cons- The place (Takun Suites) where we stayed is a bit far from the main villa..and we need to drive down just to have our breakfast there..and on the day itself, they inform us there is no buffet breakfast but ala carte breakfast instead..the buffet breakfast was limited too and there is no floating breakfast like what it was posted on their instagram page...so it was quite a disappointment for all of us since we were looking forward to it..the dipping pool at the suites was very dirty and yellowish in color…plus there is no microwave oven for us to use…overall, nice place to take photos and put it on social media..

Love the nature and peaceful environment here! This place is just about 30 minutes away from KL city. Especially the Silver Caravan we booked, it was in a private space that is very suitable for couple or 2-4 friends group. The only disadvantage is the washroom is outside the caravan, if raining then have to take umbrella. Suggest to have a roof cover for the walking path to washroom. Overall, it was a great experience! Will come back again for other room experience.

Stayed in Villa Takun in the Takun room for 1 night. We did a photoshoot in this location after we booked at the White Cottage (huge fiasco). I am reviewing Villa Takun completely independent of my experience in White Cottage to be fair.

Pros:
✅ Beautiful nature and well decorated spaces which provided a nice backdrop for photos
✅ Comfortable and large room, appreciated the vanity table with large mirror & plug points for hair tools
✅ Big outdoor bathtub with mountain views (however, wouldn’t suggest to use at night as there are a lot of bugs attracted to the light and potentially monkeys)

Cons:
❌ Although management made a mistake with our original booking (completely forgot we were coming), and we were partnering with their photography partner, they still insisted on a photography charge of RM400. We had no choice but to accept since our photoshoot was happening the next day.

Villa Takun was an absolute delight! Loved the stay—everything was so relaxing and chill. The environment was serene and beautifully maintained, and the hospitality was top-notch. Definitely planning to come back for another stay. Highly recommend!
