Equipment: consider in good maintenance, almost complete equipment. Maybe place slight small that's why limited machine.

Payment fee: only via urbax apps. Currently RM15 for walk in

Parking: free parking outside hotel. Paid parking in hospital compound. Before out of hotel can validate parking at hotel counter only pay RM1.

Good gym but compared to other urbax branches. This one has the worst service, especially that buff dude that works here. I’ve been here for more than 10 times, he always looks angry. What did I do wrong but asking politely for touch n go to buy water. After my pass expires, I’ll never come to this branch anymore, I’d rather go further. Worst service, buff means you can be arrogant? I’m a paying customer okay?

Staff was so rude literally shout at me, when I forgot to repack the weights .
I understand it was my fault, and I did apologise for I forgot to repack the weights, and I put the weights back to the rack as well.

But it would be better if you could just tell us nicely instead of shouting at us ,
It was a terrible experience.
And yes it is the same buff guys I saw from the over bad review .
He is so rude and mean and always angry .

Doesn’t look like a good gym community here .
Won’t recommend if any one of you want to work out here .

Nice gym. Well equiped with all the things you need for a good work-out. Everything is clean and new. Friendly staff. Daily pass costs 15 RM. Pass for 3 entries 30 RM. They only thing I would improve: please provide free water refill. That should be included in the membership fee, especially in such a hot country where you cannot drink from the tap.

My first time seeing a commercial gym within a hotel, but I’m really glad so because the in house hotel gym was a total wreck! This gym has an excellent range of equipment and the staff were friendly. It costs RM12 for pay per entry. Overall had a great workout, my only complaint is that they open at 8am. That’s way too late for a gym!

Been going to this fitness centre whenever I’m in Ipoh.

Pros:
1) Good place to workout.
2) Even though there is no water dispenser, they sell 500ml mineral water. RM1 only. Cold ones ❤️!!
3) They have the needed workout equipments in ok condition.

Cons:
1) Walking lanes are small & cramped with workout machines.
2) Extremely warm at the cardio machines area because facing the windows. Decided to use my own portable fan whenever I go for cardio.
3) Toilets are outside the gym. Very inconvenient. Fortunately the hotel toilets are clean & nice.
4) Need to bring own padlock, & their lockers are very small.

Suggestion to make the place better:
1) Please add some kettlebells, if you don’t have that now.
2) Do something to make the cardio machine area cooler pleaseeee.
3) Put hanging rack in the shower room to hang clothes.
4) Provide hair dryers.
