Zero-waste, zero standards

We hosted our own retreat here, and the experience was far below acceptable for the price paid.

Accommodation
Rooms were damp and musty, with linens that felt unwashed and heavy with moisture. The entire space had a neglected, stale feel.

Cleanliness (Yoga + Kitchen)
The yoga area was coated in fine construction dust—every movement kicked particles into the air, making it hard to breathe deeply during practice. Kitchen hygiene was no better: greasy counters, crumbs everywhere, and a single worn sponge to “clean” everything.

Food Service
Meals were minimal and poorly planned—portions ran out quickly, leaving some of us without food. We were told to wash our own dishes as part of their “zero-waste” concept, but the setup felt more like cost-saving disguised as sustainability.

Space
Though advertised as calm and minimal, the dusty environment and lack of maintenance made it feel more rundown than restful.

This place hides behind a “zero-waste” label to justify poor service and hygiene. For the premium rate charged, the quality is unacceptable. Would not return.

Overpriced, unhygienic, and completely misleading

We booked this venue based on glowing 5-star reviews and the promise of a peaceful, eco-conscious retreat. What we experienced was far from acceptable.

• Bed bugs — We didn’t see them, but woke up with bites all over. Completely unacceptable for any guest accommodation.
• Showers — Water pressure was almost non-existent. It was barely enough to rinse off, let alone feel clean.
• Yoga space — Covered in fine dust and debris from construction. Breathing during practice felt unhealthy and uncomfortable.
• Kitchen & food — Greasy countertops, crumbs left out, and extremely limited portions that left many of us hungry.
• “Eco-conscious” practice — Guests were expected to wash their own dishes using one sponge and cold water, all under the label of being sustainable. It felt more like a cost-saving measure than a thoughtful, well-executed initiative.

This place hides behind feel-good language while delivering substandard facilities and service. For the price we paid, it was a huge disappointment. Would not recommend.

Significant health and hygiene concerns

I chose this venue on the strength of its 5-star ratings and “eco-conscious” positioning. The reality was unacceptable:
• Bed-bug bites: Multiple guests discovered bites post-stay, indicating inadequate pest control.
• Low water pressure: Showers delivered only a trickle, making basic hygiene difficult.
• Dust-laden yoga space: Fine construction dust covered mats and floors, compromising air quality and safety.
• Insufficient catering: Meal portions did not meet the advertised full-board standard; several participants went without.
• Self-service cleaning: Guests were required to wash dishes with a single worn sponge, presented as an eco initiative but clearly a cost-saving measure.

At the price charged, these deficiencies are indefensible. I cannot recommend this property until it addresses sanitation, maintenance, and service standards.

– Bed bugs: Left with bites all over. That’s how bad the hygiene is.
– Showers: Water pressure was so weak, it was like washing with a drip.

– Food: Not enough for everyone. Guests went hungry.
– Clean-up: We had to wash our own dishes with one old sponge, all in the name of being “eco-friendly.” Felt more like laziness and cost-cutting.

This place charges premium prices but offers subpar, unhygienic conditions. Definitely not worth it. Avoid.

If can give no stars… I’d give 0 stars.

If giving feedback means you have to get defensive, then what’s the point of asking for it. That is the owner’s motto. When informed that her food was not enough for 12 pax, instead of catering for more food with the budget SHE gave… she argued that we, a group of 12 yogis… are just big eaters.

That’s not all… she shoved cameras in our faces about her food. I am a private person, and not once did she ask for permission or consent to film my group and I. I don’t agree with how she runs the business, and certainly don’t support her behavior and actions when treating us as customers.

Friendly owner, great facilities, and extremely relaxing.

Stayed for a 3D2N for work. It was a fantastic experience. We used their common area for workshop and discussion. The relaxing atmosphere helps alot to boost productivity for every brainstorming session.

The owner welcomed us with warmth and tea snacks upon our arrival. Short briefing was given to help us understand the place and seek assistance. The rooms were very clean and comfy. Love the place is surrounded by trees, can feel the nature. Food was included, and generously prepared.

It was a great short stay in the jungle. We were well accomodated on our visit.

We had a lovely trip here with some friends. You're encourage to enjoy the outdoors and we truly did. The place was clean, surround by greens and fresh air.

Bring your own repellent. Will be useful as there are mosquitoes. Nice place to enjoy your bbq or steamboat too. There are facilities to keep and prepare your meals.

This is the place to go to really enjoy a quick getaway from the city. Time just seems to slow down a bit here. Enjoy nature, observe the serene surrounding and relax...
