Very authentic matchas. They might be pricy, but these are actual authentic matcha coffees and drinks from japan. We tried a couple of them and straight brought me back to my days in kyoto. The chicken cutlet is big and filling. Gyudon small portion but its good. Dorayaki really good too, inside is butter and red bean. The croffle and nanban karage okok only, don't really recommend if wanna save some money, as the matcha drinks are the real gems. The cafe is small and narrow, but oh my it is very aesthetic. Its pricy lah but honestly with the authenticity, I'm happy with the experience. Not every day go kind of cafe of course.

First impressions weren't great. We got there and the gentleman at the counter said they were full. He asked us to sit outside or upstairs but my kids were hot so we opted to wait for a table inside. I asked how long they thought a table would take to free up, he said he wasn't sure (fair enough). I said the kids are hot but hungry but we will wait. There was a table in the corner with some random person's laptop charging on it. So the kids and I asked if we could sit there while we were waiting for a proper table. After a few minutes someone came and apologized and took the lap top away.

The table was a small table for two.

We then went to order and were informed they had just run out of the two things the kids actually wanted to eat.

I feel like he could have, at the beginning informed us that the karaage and the other starter chicken dish was running out soon which would have prompted us to preorder it, but he did not so we missed out

Anyway when we sat back at our table, and waited for our food, a lovely staff member at the other section of tomo tomo offered to grab us another chair so that the table could accommodate the 3 of us. I would have given this place a 2 stars or less for service if not for Eileen's initiative. She runs the section that has some Japanese tea drinking items, and some local artists artwork and some other really interesting miniature paraphernalia.

Atmosphere was great

Food was hit and miss...
Matcha was delicious.
Though if you're use to really sweet things you won't like it. Ochazuke was tender and flavourful but lacked something... Maybe could do with a tiny bit more salt?

Cabbage dish. I liked it but my daughter who actually loves raw cabbage did not love this dish. We do raw cabbage salad at home regularly and my picky daughter thoroughly enjoys it

My foodie son and my picky daughter gave the food 3.5 out of 10.

I feel like the ingredients were fresh and good quality and tasted very healthy. .. but could use a little bit more seasoning. Flavours were delicate .. so if that's your thing you will enjoy this.

Right before leaving we decided to give the place another chance and ordered dessert. Dessert was delicious.

Id probably come back for coffee/ tea and pastries 🙂
If you're coming for lunch kids rate this 3/5. For coffee/ matcha and sweet bites we rate it 5/5. A cool first date option for coffee and treats for sure.

Visited the place for a Sunday lunch. Place was quite packed but still lots of space to sit outside.

Waited 35-40 minutes for the food, not really their fault, just that the kitchen is really busy. Recommend to visit during week day or come for afternoon tea.

Atmosphere was pretty good as you get to enjoy the spacious space in Subang PARC, parking is convenient and plentiful.

Was quite surprise to see a very limited choice of food items. They do have pastry and dorayaki (we did try the dorayaki, and it was ok)

Food wise, there isn’t anything to shout about. Normal standard for any Japanese restaurant. But for the price you’re paying… could get the money worth at other places.

I think the place is great for a nice afternoon or late morning drink with friends. Definitely have to think twice if you plan to take the whole family for lunch (no dinner since they operate until 6pm).

The Curry Katsu Don was soso. The curry was watery and lacked richness. Croissant waffle was crispy but leaned towards hard, and the large scoop of cream made it overly heavy, especially for someone who doesn’t like overly sweet desserts. The biggest letdown was the Matcha Latte. Probably the worst I’ve ever had…

Service was also lacking. There was no one to guide us when we entered, leaving us confused until we realized we had to order at the counter. The staff didn’t seem very friendly either.

A Japanese style cafe located inside the subang ria park. Ordering at the ground floor before u head up. There is seating at ground floor and level one both indoor and outdoor. Limited seating. Outdoor seating is hot when is sunny- not recommended. Food and coffee was above average

The perfect place to chill and get work done. I love the vibe, the coffee is exceptional - look for Adam for handbrews. (probably the only place in Subang to get good coffee) food wise, could do with a tad bit more variety, but I suppose the limitation in space would explain a focused menu which is solid as well. Also, pets are allowed outside which is great for my doggo.

5/5. Would be back for sure!

I like the cafe ambience from outside to inside. The details of the shop reflect their quality in all ways. Friendly services and attentive.

Foods are tasty , but there's room to improve. However, the price does not match the portion.

Downstairs table to table distance is pretty close to each other. If u wanted a more privacy chat, may be outdoor and upstairs would be recommended.

I would return occasionally.
