Beautiful colonial style cafe/restaurant. Dark but airy inside, with helpful and polite staff. The flat white was perfect, with a silky mouth feel and strong without being too overbearing or bitter.

They focus on a small number of meals so they can concentrate on high quality (or at least that's my assumption). I had the turmeric-spiced battered fish and chips. The chips were simple French fries, no issues there. The homemade tartar sauce was very different to normal. I liked it, but prefer the original tartar.

The fish though...wow. A masterpiece. Amazingly plump and moist on the inside with bags of flavour. The batter was the right level of thickness and crisped to perfection. The batter tasted other-worldly. Would love to get their recipe, probably the best tasting batter I've ever had, knocks Rick Stein's out of the park!

My photos don't do the food or decor true justice. Both are top-drawer. With chilled lounge music playing (and a baby grand in place which I assume also gets used), it provides a great escape from the outdoors heat. Highly recommended, but probably not for rowdy kids.

Wir sind dort zum Kaffee und Kuchen gewesen. Das Ambiente war genau unser Geschmack mit dezenter Piano Musik im Hintergrund. 👌🏽 Der Flat White und der Tiramisu Kuchen waren ebenfalls lecker. Der Service war sehr freundlich. Wir würden jederzeit wieder herkommen! 😊👍🏽

Beautiful heritage building with vintage interiors, and the piccolo coffee was great. Unfortunately, one staff member was very rude when we asked about ordering, even pointing toward the cashier with a large knife she was using to cut cakes. Very uncomfortable experience.

Other staff, including the cashier, were friendly, but the incident made me lose interest in trying the cakes. Disappointing service during my trip to Kuching. I hope customer service can be improved to match the place’s charm.

Originally built in 1874, it was the administrative and judicial center during the White Rajah era. Today, it is home to a mix of cafés, restaurants, a bar, and the Ranee Museum, making it a must-visit spot for both history buffs and food enthusiasts.

First time trying The Old Court House Kuching. We found this place recommended on Google and RedBook. The food is delicious and tastes great.

The restaurant environment is comfortable and cozy. Most importantly, the toilet is very clean and secure! you need a password to access it. Overall, a great experience! 💯

Deze resto moet je doen! Echt super lekker. We genoten van de salades, maar vooral van de lekkere taart. We hadden 4 soorten geproefd en allen overheerlijk. Is heel gezellig om te vertoeven en bediening is vriendelijk. 10/10!!!

Historical place and enjoy the lunch and afternoon tea there. This is a place with class. The drinks are wonderful, the pasta is really good. The atmosphere is so enjoyable.
