I cannot recommend The Bukit Langkawi enough! This place is truly luxurious. I stayed in the Orchid Room, and the view was absolutely breathtaking. It really did look like the pictures. The gym had good facilities. The little touches, like providing a toothbrush and toothpaste, made it feel extra special. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the breakfast was delicious every single morning!!

Wan and the rest of the team really made my stay unforgettable. They went above and beyond to make me feel so welcome, even surprising me with a birthday cake! They were always available on WhatsApp, offering fantastic recommendations not just for Langkawi but for all of Malaysia. You can tell they genuinely care and want you to have the best experience possible.

I would definitely stay here again when I come back to Langkawi, it felt like a home away from home.

Resort situato a 10min di macchina dall'aeroporto ed immerso nella natura. Vista bellissima, rilassante.
La struttura è nuova e ben tenuta, con piscina.
Sono stato in un mini appartamento molto carino e pulito, con balconcino con affaccio su una bellissima vallata verde, camera matrimoniale spaziosa, open space con angolo cottura e soggiorno.
Colazione abbondante e di qualità. Possibile anche cenare (piatti locali molto buoni).
Servizio eccellente.
Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.
Decisamente da consigliare.

Literal Garden of Eden but tropical 🌴 Fresh air, zero noise, rainforest ASMR 24/7.
Perfect for a full-on disconnect and chill.
Heads up tho — you’re kinda stranded (no shops nearby) but honestly, Bukit Resort said "stay in, touch grass, and heal your soul" — and they understood the assignment. 🌿🔥

Serious note: Free transfers to airport/Chenang Beach + indoor/outdoor activities sorted for you (beach, nightlife, nature) if needed.

Rooms & Stuff:
✨ Super clean. Either boujee modern or rustic kampong vibes depending on your room.
📶 WiFi? Stronger than my willpower.
🥐 Buffet brekkie? Fire. Local + international food, everyone's covered.
🏊‍♂️ Pool = 4ft chill zone.
🏋️‍♂️ Gym = basic but solid (25kg dumbbells, cardio machines, bench).

Service Level:
💯 Staff = elite. Shoutout Mr. Farhan & Mr. Daniel for the warmest welcome ever (hot face towels included, fam).
🛎️ Check-in/out? Smooth like butter.
🤝 Always someone ready to help if you need anything. Reception is where the café, gym & pool are.

Ce nouveau resort offre une vue incroyable et plein de super équipements, comme une salle de sport, une piscine, et un café sympa qui propose un petit-déjeuner gratuit mêlant plats locaux et occidentaux. J'ai logé dans la Maison Traditionnelle Mahsuri — c'était comme faire un vrai bond dans le passé, super authentique ! Le service aussi était top : accueillant, pro et vraiment aux petits soins.

Je reviendrai et je resterai plus longtemps!

Had a wonderful and memorable time at The Bukit Resort with my family.

Service: Service was top notch. Was greeted with cold towels and a warm welcome by the staff members. All of my requests / queries were attended to swiftly. From checking in to checking out everything was smooth. Many thanks for Mr. Farhan, Mr Daniel and Mr. Rashid.

Room: Had the pleasure of staying at the Jasmine Villa which was located on top. It had a magnificent view from there. It was clean, comfortable and spacious - my kid enjoyed running around. The living room was big and had a sofa bed. While the bedroom had a 4 poster traditional wooden bed that was king sized. Mattress and pillows were so cozy. Air condition was cold, especially at night - but you can adjust to your liking. Heads up since Langkawi is an island it can get very hot, especially during the noon, but The Bukit has already anticipated that and got you all covered with the air conditioning. Toilet was clean , had hot water if needed and strong water pressure. Towels were provided and they were really soft and fuzzy. The room had all the basic ammenities - hair dryer, ironing board , prayer mat, microwave, fridge, and even plates and cutleries. Mineral water and kettle was also provided but if you want to get your own snacks, there are many marts nearby along the way. There's also a smart TV with netflix and strong Wifi connection.

Pool & Gym : They have a 4 ft adult sized pool and a baby pool for the kids, both had clear water and was fun to dip in. They had floaties available and Balinese umbrella with comfortable wooden lounge chairs to chill in by the pool. During the evening when the sun isnt too hot it was nice to spend time here, overlooking the mountains. I did not have the chance to visit the Gym tho.

Cafe: Had the opportunity to try the breakfast here which consisted of a mix of local and internatinal cuisine - the main dish is cooked daily by the in house chef and changes every day ie: Nasi goreng, Kway toew goreng, Nasi lemak. There is also roti canai / porridge, a selection of assorted Malay Kueh, salad. fruits and bread. They served cow's milk and also plant based milk to go with the Kampung Coffee and tea.
Cafe area had many seats and beautiful traditional Malay art hanging.

Location : Located 10 minutes from the airport. It's easy to get there , just waze./ google maps The Bukit Resort . If you plan to rent a car there are ample of free parking spaces. If not, you can arrange an airport transfer with the hotel. Its on top of a hill so the views are spectacular. You get a 360 panoromic view of Langkawi, undisturbed. I enjoyed my mornings overlooking the view, accompanied by a cuppa and the birds chirping. You can also have a nice stroll in the compound. Since it's a bit enclosed, be sure to drop by any of the mart along the way for late night snacking.

Price: Definitely value for money and worth it. It's a boutique resort with all the ammenities and service of a 5 star hotel.

If you plan to escape from the city, wake up to smoky mountains and relax, this is definitely the place for you. It's family friendly, but can also be suitable for a romantic getaway - the staff can arrange for a sunset cruise ( I heard a couple went for it). Im definitely returning with my whole family one day!

My wife, daughter and I stayed at The Bukit Resort for 4 nights. This is a new resort located at a hill in the interior of Langkawi, which we heard by word of mouth.

The Bukit is exceptional and one of the best resorts we’ve ever stayed! We’ve been to Langkawi regularly and by far this is the best Langkawi has to offer.

Without a doubt I give it 5/5 for the following reasons:-

1. The service by the staff is amazing. It’s a boutique resort which has a personal touch where the staff would do their best for the guests. Credits to Mr Daniel, Mr Farhan, Mr Rashid and other staff for making it an enjoyable stay. This is hospitality at its finest.

2. The scenic view from this resort is just breathtaking. You can see the mountains of Langkawi and also the paddy fields in all its glory. Definitely a rare spot which no other resort can offer.

3. We stayed at the Mahsuri villa. It’s a kampung house which has this rustic charm surrounded by lush greenery. All amenities are there such as air conditioning, fridge, TV, hot water etc. This villa overlooks the magnificent view from the balcony. I highly recommend it.

4. The resort has other amenities such as a gym, swimming pool, cafe and strong wifi. My 1 year old daughter loved the place so much that she had a great time in the resort (especially the pool) instead of when we went out for excursions!

5. The resort is also of low density as there’s around 7 villas available. Hence, privacy and peace are assured. We were well rested during our stay there.

6. Being at the hills would mean that it is not close to the beach. But with a Grab ride or a motorcycle, Cenang Beach is around 15 minutes away. However, this doesnt matter much because the resort itself has everything we need.

7. The resort also provides food such as buffet breakfast and ala carte lunch. Credits to the chef for cooking excellent Malaysian cuisine. We had chicken rice, beef biryani, nasi goreng and other delicacies where we had multiple refills.

8. The price point for our stay is reasonable for the service and amenities offered.

Overall, this is a truly unique resort where we will definitely be coming back.

Nous avons passé un séjour de 4 nuits et tout était superbe.

🛏️ la villa : spacieuse, joliment décorée et avec une literie très confortable.
🍞 le petit déjeuner : varié avec un grand nombre d’option chaude faite minute pour vous (œufs brouillés, pochés, omelette etc ), plusieurs variétés de pains, confitures, céréales, rôti, pudding, rice, café, thés et plein d’autres douceurs. Un vrai régal !
🏊🏻‍♀️ la piscine : grande et très agréable avec des transats et parasols à disposition pour se détendre.
🏋🏻‍♂️ salle de sport : très agréable, très bien équipée avec machines cardio, banc de muscu multi fonction et altères.
🛥️ sortie yacht disponible en extra : le gros plus de l’hôtel. Partez pour l’après-midi sur le yacht de l’hôtel, vous serez 6 personnes maximum. Faites du kayak, du snorkeling, désaltérez vous et mangez avec cette vue magnifique sur l’eau. Une sortie à ne pas manquer, calme et seul sur l’eau loin des bateaux touristiques.

🧍🏽‍♂️le service : mention spéciale au staff qui était vraiment ADORABLE. Toujours là avec le sourire pour vous rendre service et faire de votre séjour un vrai moment de détente. Merci beaucoup à Won, Daniel, Captain et le Chef pour avoir rendu notre séjour inoubliable.

The stay for four nights was excellent. Rasa macam tak nak balik rumah. The room was so comfortable, it feels like the room itself blends with nature because of the exposed red brick and open concept of glass where the view from the room is absolutely stunning. Buka je bilik pintu Anggun terus boleh terjun swimming with the stepping stone as a guide to the pool. I will not forget the delicious food from their cafe. For me it was a 10/10. Brings back the nostalgic taste at my kampung. Overall, it was an incredible stay at The Bukit Resort hotel
