We had an enjoyable stay at the hotel. We can’t really fault it, for the price and location. It’s nice and clean, the service was very good and the location was an easy walk to the main city attractions.

The only small negative for us was the loud music from the hotel bar (which was a very nice bar), which was quite loud in our room and kept us up late.
A few more vegetarian breakfast items would have been appreciated too.

Was pleasantly surprised during my recent stay. Room cleanliness was great. Food is good and staff very polite and friendly.

Had the opportunity to listen to a local duo that was performing on Friday evening and kudos to the management of Borneo Hotel in supporting local acts and giving them the opportunity. The Duo were really good.

The hotel provides a nice, comfortable room with a clean and quiet environment. It is close to the waterfront and is surrounded by many eateries nearby. Staff were helpful and accommodative. |Downside is a small breakfast spread and there was no gym

The room was comfortable and spacious, with all the necessary amenities. I appreciated the complimentary drinking water, as expected.
Service:
The reception staff was friendly and helpful. I needed to pay a RM150 deposit, and they allowed me to use my credit card since I didn't have cash on hand. I hope the refund process is quick.
Facilities:
The hotel has been recently renovated, so everything looks fresh and modern. Breakfast is served starting at 7 AM, which was convenient as I had a meeting the next day in a nearby building.
Location:
The hotel's location was perfect for me, as it's close to my meeting venue. I was aware that my room didn't have a window when I booked through Agoda.
Drawbacks:
One thing I didn't like was that parking was an additional charge. Even though there were security guards outside, I felt a bit uneasy about the parking situation.
Overall:
Overall, I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. My room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was accommodating. I would consider staying here again if I'm in the area.
