The hotelroom is basic but aircon is working well, there is hot water wifi, beds are okay and room was clean. Location is fine. Booking by Agoda was a disaster as the hotelowner didn't get paid by Agoda he refused to give entrance to the room we had paid for and got confirmed by Agoda. Agoda cancelled the booking and restituted the money but they refused to compensate the expensive international phone charges that were necessary to get this settled even though I explicitely asked them to call me by Whatsapp to avoid these costs. They still offer the hotel at their website so next traveler that will book this hotel with Agoda will experience the same problem

As other reviews, this is a SCAM! We booked through Agoda at a very cheap price and once we arrived the owner said he no longer works with Agoda and he didn’t care if we already paid, he said we would need to pay him the total if we wanted to stay there (double the price we checked online btw).
After this totally bad experience we left the place and it was very hard to find a new one as everything was booked already (take into consideration that Kuala Tahan is a small village and affordable accommodation for backpackers are not too many).
DO NOT STAY HERE for any reason!!!

It's no longer operating under OYO, because they don't pay him, so I had to pay again! Still waiting for refund! (Second OYO disaster)The rooms are badly in need of a fresh coat of paint, the walls have many dirty marks. But the floors are clean in room and corridors. No emptying of toilet paper bins in my 3 nights. The owner is very pleasant and helpful

Le camere sono piccole e non particolarmente pulite, il bagno è spartano e senza cabina doccia, la struttura è molto rumorosa. Tuttavia, considerando gli standard del luogo e il prezzo, l'hotel è ok. Consigliato se siete alla ricerca di un posto per trascorrere la notte per uno o 2 giorni, ma da evitare se cercate comfort o per un soggiorno più lungo.
