Really nice little cafe which is up a flight of stairs and not very easy to spot which is great! And I do like the very cosy atmosphere they have a roaster near the counter as well which they roast their coffee. I had ordered the iced coffee float which is nice and the tropical fruit soda which at this time was grapefruit. And for dessert I had the honey cake which is off menu at and you can ask staff if they have it and the chocolate brownie which is nice served warm with a scoop of ice cream on top. Definitely a nice little treat! The table wear is quite nice as well I would say, overall would recommend.

Good food, good coffee, good service. Very small shop with very limited seats. Parking might be difficult, so recommends that you park somewhere nearby and walk over. Nice and chill place. The chair is very hard, and the table is a bit too low, so it's not very comfortable to stay for very long.

Phyrostal

With a chill atmosphere and relaxing soft music playing, this is a place where you can spend your quality time cosily. Both food and beverages are decent and tasty, and servicing by staff is good.

The only drawback is the very steep stairs, which potentially cause accidents especially children and elderly customers. Rather than that, it's a nice cafe to stop by, especially shutterbugs.

The ambience of this establishment is splendid. The "corner store" inside the establishment seems to double as an exhibition with a variety of artifacts on display. I find the potted plants to be especially soothing. However, the establishment is not easy to locate and the steps leading up to it were especially steep. Nonetheless, I do believe that this is a wonderful location for quiet meals and an aromatic cup of coffee.

Nice little experience in the old part of town. Located on the upper level of old shophouse, need to mount up a flight of steep steps. Interesting and simple set up.
Tried the ice coffee and Japanese curry rice. Enjoyed the lotus root.
Good place to chill.

The food options are limited, but I really enjoy their mushroom baked rice.

The space is small and located on the second floor, so it’s best to avoid if you have mobility issues.

Customer Service is good , I've order a Sunday morning bento set .

A low key and unpretentious spot in the centre of JB that serves a mix of comforting and contemporary Japanese dishes.

I recommended trying the Japanese curry udon and Japanese style pudding. Ask them not to overcook the eggs. They also freshly roast coffee beans in store. A minimalist zen cafe with homemade food not to be missed.
