I go to this place nearly every weekend now because I really like the food here. I first came here around November 2023 when they were open 12-6pm, but they recently changed their operation hour after Ramadan I guess? Now they are open from 5pm-10pm with prayer break 7.30pm-8.30pm.

One thing that should be noted if you are coming here, the parking is VERY limited and challenging as it is surrounded by palm oil plantation. Even with only 2-3 cars here, it was quite hard to maneuver your car as the space is very narrow, hence why I prefer coming with a motorcycle instead. If the parking space was full, you might opt to park your car along the street. But the street is also narrow as it is in a village, so please park your car mindfully. As for this reason, I quite hope that this cafe was filled with customers, but not until it went viral that it might cause nuisance and disturbance to the villagers around.

The tables are available indoor and outdoor, but indoor tables are suitable for small groups only like 2-4 pax per table, but the outdoor can accommodate larger groups. I prefer indoor seating as the outdoor seating is more like ‘camping’ style where you might have to bend to eat your pasta / main course. If you are only having cakes and drinks, the outdoor seating is just okay.

For the drinks, I first came here to try their matcha latte but honestly I was quite disappointed with the drink. Hence, I did not come again for the drink. But I came again last May to try their food and they did not disappoint. The main course available here is only four, of which 3 are pasta and another one is bagel. I never tried their bagel but I have tried all their pastas, safe to say I like their Smoked Duck Cili Padi pasta the best, 5/5 I would rate. Will always order this when I come here.

As for the Seafood Tomyam Pasta, it was quite okay but not really my favourite, 4/5 for me. The seafood tomyam has clam (latest), shrimp and squid ring. I didn’t prefer this pasta because they used frozen squid rings, sorry. And Beef Chili Oil Pasta, although the name has chili in it, it is the least spicy pasta here. It was more quite like Alfredo (creamy) pasta with only a hint of spiciness but they still easily become ‘muak’ for me. I think this best suits people who can’t handle spicy food and also kids, I would rate it 3.2/5

The drink here, I would highly recommend their hot latte (without sugar). Really one of the best hot latte I’ve tried. Also tried their matcha strawberry but not to my liking. And one plus point for this cafe, they serve plain water for free and you can also ask for ice without any extra charge. Kudos!

Apart from that, I also tried their dessert, their main offerings; Berry Pavlova is quite good, 4/5. The owner once offered to refund some of the price because I was served with the last portion of the pavlova that is quite ‘ruined’ but I politely refused. I highly appreciate the gesture. Their Berry Pistachio cake was good too, the sweetness and fluffiness was balanced.

As for the price, it is the standard of any cafe in Selangor but can be quite pricey for Banting. However given the quality you get, I wouldn’t complaint.
Overall, this is one of my favourite cafe in Banting, I really wish them to prosper.

Sulaiman’s by Bake & Brew is a hidden gem tucked away just 5 minutes from Banting town, in Kanchong. I had the pleasure of trying their matcha latte, and it was absolutely on point – creamy, rich, and perfectly balanced. The cozy ambiance makes it a great place to unwind, whether you're alone or with friends. Their menu offers a fantastic variety of food at very reasonable prices, which adds to the overall charm of the place. If you're looking for a peaceful spot with quality food and drinks, price is reasonable .Sulaiman’s is definitely worth a visit!

Need something to fullfill your thirst around banting? This cafe is indeed a very good choice. Surrounded by palm estate providing nice greenery view.

Caramel Macchiato Coffee, Matcha Latte is a must to have here. Combined with Carbonara Currypuff, Burnt Cheesecake, Beef creamy Chilli Spaghetti and Double Choc Nutella Cake.

Best place to bring your family and friends here!!!

A nice place to have decent coffee. Gula Melaka cake is delicious. Simple and modern building design. Owners are friendly and helpful. Recommended 👍🏻
