The location was beautiful, near to the floating mosque . However I don't think it deserves a 9.1 rating, the water pressure was weak, the TV was not working and worst of all the WiFi was completely not working . Maybe a 7.8 . Note that it is a 4 story house so there are a lot of steps to climb inside the house

Recently we cancelled our booking in Booking.com and burnt RM800 because the descriptions of the rooms are MISLEADING. It stated that there are 6 rooms, but upon carefully looking at every picture, there are '2 rooms' actually connecting to each other with the same entrance and bathroom (in other word, to go into Bedroom 1, we need to pass through Bedroom 2 first and to go to the Bathroom, we also need to pass through Bedroom 2, so no privacy for Bedroom 2).

We had to cancel because we are going with 6 couples, there is no way 2 couples can share a room.

Communication with the owner was FRUSTRATING. Owner DID NOT ADMIT the MISCONDUCT AND we were unable to report this misleading information.

COMMENTED ON AGODA BAD REVIEW BUT AGODA AMENDED THE REVIEW TO ACCEPTABLE!!!!

We have always been in the habit of renting homestays when traveling. We have rented so many homestays before and have never had an unpleasant experience, but this homestay was a serious failure!!!!!! The situation encountered in the homestay is really incredible and unacceptable.

We rented a villa, and the following is what we encountered:
1. There are 5 toilets on the upper and lower floors of the whole villa, but there is NO toilet paper at all. The person in charge replied late night and give a lame excuse that cleaner forgot to put toilet paper. End up we have to buy our own toilet paper.

2. When turned on the TV, the picture is blur and person in charge ask us to adjust the wire behind the TV ourselves.

3. The air conditioner on the second floor blowing out hot air!We called the person in charge and he told us to turn on the air conditioner for a while and wait for it to cool. But we turned on the air conditioner all day and it was still blowing out hot air!!!!!

4. The fence gate cannot be locked, it is just hooked with a wire. We were very worried that our cars would be stolen in the middle of the night.

5. Is mentioned in Agoda booking details that Wifi is available in the villa. But few hours before we checked in, the person in charge told us that the villa did not have Wifi. This is a lie!!!!!!

6. An hour before we checked in, the person in charge gave us a lot of rules (rules that are not stated in Agoda booking page), and told us that if we did not comply, our deposit would be deducted, including that towels must be placed in the living room after use. Hello, we are tenants, not your kakak!!!!!!!!!

7. The rules sent by the person in charge also stated that if all door handles are broken, we have to pay for them. The problem is that we found that the door knob was broken when we entered. Fortunately, we took photos to prove our innocence, otherwise we would be blamed for the damage of the villa properties and have our deposit deducted.

8. The person in charge will not answer the phone, only reply with messages. It is best to make sure there is no emergency, otherwise you may have to wait for the person in charge to reply the message late night!!!!!

If you want to run a Airbnb business, you must have a sense of responsibility and empathy. If you encounter such a situation when staying in a homestay, how would you feel?

We regretted choosing this villa without reading the reviews carefully. I hope no one will make the same mistake as us!

Painting issue due to water leakage I guess. And parking not enough. Have to climb stairs for rooms. TV did not support YouTube well. Had connection issue.ruined the night there. Rooms were great.very quite place to stay.

Good and comfortable rooms..clean beds.. spacious rooms, beautiful view of the sea from the top floor..very calm at night..no sound of vehicles.. but the washroom attached to the 2nd floor left room smelled worst..please do something about it..
