Πήγα στις 11/4/23 ,όλοι μου έλεγαν να πάω πρωί.το δωρεάν λεωφορείο έφευγε στις 6.00 το πρωί και έκανε 1.30 λεπτά οπότε πήρα ταξί Grab με 70 rm και με πήγε και με γύρισε στο ξενοδοχείο μου .ήρθε στις 8.00 και στις 8.30 ήμαστε στο καταφύγιο .έβγαλα εισητήριο ,είχα έρθει και στις 26/12/16 και δεν είχα δεί ούτε ένα uran goutan οπότε ήρθα ξανά για να δώ.θέλει να περπατήσεις 1,5 χιλιόμετρα σε άσφαλτο οπότε έβγαλα έξτρα εισητήριο με electric Buggy 15 rm.Με το αμαξάκι είναι άνετα δεν ιδρώνεις καθόλου .Οί φύλακες φώναζαν τα ζώα να έρθουν.τελικά στις 8.50 ήρθε ένας .Μετά μας είπανε να πάμε στον σταθμό Β είχε έρθει μία μητέρα με το μωρό της .Περπατήσαμε 5 λεπτά σε ένα μονοπάτι και φθάσαμε ,εκεί απολαύσαμε τη μαμά με το μικρό που τρώγανε.Ο φύλακας ραφαήλ μου είπε ότι μπορώ με το ίδιο εισητήριο να έρθω και το μεσημέρι στις 15.00 που γίνετε η σίτιση ,θα έχω πιθανότητες να δώ και άλλους ουρακοτάγκους .Έτσι έκανα ,έφυγα με το ταξί που με περίμενε και στις 12.00 πήρα το δωρεάν λεωφορείο που έχει απέναντι από το River side mall το οποίο κάνει 1.30 λεπτά για να φθάσει .Εκεί ξανά έβγαλα εισητήριο για τη μεταφορά με electric Buggy δεν ίδρωσα καθόλου ,είχε πολύ ζέστη το μεσημέρι για να περπατήσω στην άσφαλτο .το αμαξάκι κάνει 5 λεπτά έφθασα και περίμενα στο κιόσκι με σκεπή.Στις 14.50 ο φύλακας Ραφαέλ φώναξε ότι ήρθανε οι ουρακοτάγκοι και πήγαμε στην εξέδρα να τους δούμε .Ήρθανε 7 από αυτούς ,ευχαριστηθήκαμε!!!Ήρθε πρώτα ένα μεγάλο αρσενικό και μετά άλλο ένα αρσενικό ,πολύ ωραία εμπειρία!!!Το συμπέρασμα είναι ότι καλύτερα είναι αν δεν δείτε πολλούς το πρωί να έρθετε και το μεσημέρι με το ίδιο εισητήριο!!!άλλωστε το εισητήριο είναι μια χαρά!!Στις 15.40 τα ζώα είχαμε φύγει οπότε πήρα ξανά το electric Buggy και γύρισα χωρίς να ιδρύσω !ξαναλέω ότι το μεσημέρι έχει πολύ ζέστη ,πάρτε το Buggy.Στον σταθμό Α έχει ένα παρτέρι που έχει κάτι παράξενα λουλούδια σωλήνες,να τα βγάλετε φωτογραφία.Έχει wc και στην είσοδο του καταφυγίου αλλά και κοντά στους σταθμούς που βλέπεις τα ζώα .Πολύ ωραία εμπειρία ,αν είστε στην πόλη του Kuching να έρθετε οπωσδήποτε !!Το ταξί Grab αλλά και το ταξί maxim σας φέρνει γρήγορα και φθηνά!Το δωρεάν λεωφορείο έφυγε στις 16.00 με εμένα και άλλο ένα επιβάτη.Κάνει 1.30 μέχρι το waterfront γιατί κάνει πολλές στάσεις,σε αφήνει και σε mall αν θέλεις.περνά από το vivacity mall από το spring mall ( για μένα είναι το καλύτερο ,έχει ευρωπαϊκό πρότυπο ) .ξέχασα να πώ ότι έχει στον σταθμό Α και Ίντερνετ ,δεν το χρησιμοποίησα αλλά είδα σε χαρτί που έγραφε το δίκτυο και το Pasward

We visited the orangutan rehabilitation center in Puching for the 9 a.m. feeding and were lucky enough to see two orangutans! It was an amazing experience. Keep in mind that there’s no guarantee you’ll see any, since they can find plenty of food in the jungle — but that’s exactly what makes it so special and authentic. Highly recommended!

This was a very nice trip for the morning. We came early on a weekday, reaching around 825am. We got a rental car and there was parking right in front of the entrance.

Once you get there, you just need to register on a QR code (need name, IC/passport, phone number). Once you have registered on your phone, you will then scan the given QR code and buy the tickets. Malaysians get the ticket for RM5 and the buggy ride for RM10. Cost more for foreigners. Do ensure you have phone data to do the registration if not register prior to coming (need to know the date and timing of visit).

Once we got our tickets, it was a short walk to the buggy and we got a 3-5 minutes ride to the viewing platform. The buggy pick up and drop off is still a 2-3 mins walk from the viewing platform but if mobility is a slight issue, they are happy to drive you all the way in.

We were extremely lucky to have 3 orang utans coming to the viewing platform 10 mins before the feeding time. We saw an alpha male which was huge and 2 others. The staff were all friendly and happy to give a running commentary that was quite humorous.

This was indeed a fun morning but I guess it depends if the orang utans come out to play.

Der Besuch im Orang Utan Park auf Borneo war absolut beeindruckend! Schon beim Betreten der Anlage spürt man, wie viel Herzblut und Engagement in den Schutz dieser wunderbaren Tiere gesteckt wird. Die Ranger sind sehr freundlich, kompetent und erzählen spannende Geschichten über das Leben, die Rettung und die Auswilderung der Orang Utans.

Wir hatten das große Glück, mehrere Orang Utans aus nächster Nähe zu sehen – ganz frei in ihrem natürlichen Lebensraum, nicht hinter Gittern! Besonders schön war zu beobachten, wie respektvoll der Park mit den Tieren umgeht und wie sehr der Naturschutz im Vordergrund steht.

Die Anlage ist sauber, gut organisiert und perfekt geeignet, um mehr über den Regenwald und seine Bewohner zu lernen. Ein absolutes Highlight jeder Reise nach Sarawak! Ich kann jedem nur empfehlen, diesen Ort zu besuchen – es ist eine einmalige Erfahrung, die man so schnell nicht vergisst.

Nice place to see some orangutans. The walk to the feeding platforms isn't hard and it's actually very enjoyable if you like nature, its sounds and its colors. The entrance fee is 10RM for foreigners and you can easily grab there and back. Worth visiting if you are in Kuching. Just make sure you preregister online before getting there.

Wonderful experience! We were very lucky to see 5 Orange Utans, but did have to wait around for 45 mins or more. The walk up wasn’t too bad so you can save on the tram ride. The rangers are amazing, full of information, humour and charm! Don’t forget to pre register for the park to save time on check in.

Open wild life Center. There is no cages or fences here. You can see and take pictures of orange utans in the open. Keep ur voice down when ur around them, don’t bring selfie sticks or action camera poles, u won’t see much with those and the orange utans mite see it as a weapon.
Best to bring a 70-200mm if you have one. Or ur iPhone pro zoom is sufficient.
There is a buggy service that you can take to see the orange utans or you could walk.

We came early before 8am to have the front queue for entrance ticket. We rode the 2nd buggy to reach at the platform. Waited nearly 2 hours until an alpha male, a mom with baby and a teen came out. Don't ask me their names. They said they have more than 20 of wild and semi-wild orang utan here. I don't care. This is the first time I have to wait just to see a few minutes of orang utan. Is it worth it? I just experienced something probably. Then another alpha male come out while we about to hop on the return buggy. By 10am something we already move to the next destination.
