As someone who has been to this hotel more than six times, I think my experience is relatively comprehensive.| |First, the environment: This island and beach have an unparalleled serene environment. The top-notch white powdery beach and beautiful tropical rainforest are amazing. The underwater corals are very well preserved. Just a dozen meters off the coast in front of the hotel, you can see magnificent corals and a large number of various schools of tropical fish, as well as small sharks and sardine storms. The rooms in the hotel are spaced far apart, and the living environment is very quiet. The swimming pool and bathing facilities in the middle can also allow you to quickly rinse off and enjoy the freshwater pool after snorkeling in the sea. The very fresh oxygen and excellent breathing experience brought by the nearby tropical rainforest are remarkable.| |Second, the hotel's facilities and equipment. I have to say that a hotel occupying such a superior geographical location really doesn't live up to its name. From the appearance, the hotel is very beautiful, with traditional Malay architecture and unique individual cottages, a magnificent lobby and restaurant. However, its various facilities and equipment are seriously inconsistent with the hotel's positioning. The floor in the room is warped. The tables and chairs are old and lack maintenance. The bed is very clean, but it can be seen that the sheets and pillows are quite old. The bathroom facilities are complete, but the hot water supply is intermittent. No toiletries are provided (but this doesn't have much impact). Overall, the bathroom can meet the needs. The air conditioner is working, but it can also be seen that the air conditioner is very old. The sense of obsolescence in the room is always lingering.| |Third, food supply. The self-service food supply for three meals a day is very timely. However, there are not too many varieties. And as a Muslim country, the staple foods are mostly curry chicken/beef/lamb/fish. Usually, there are three main dishes (including various meats) and two side dishes, as well as three different staple foods (rice/mashed potatoes/pasta/corn), as well as snacks and pastries (bread, cake, dessert, fried shrimp crackers, etc.), fruits (there are 2-3 kinds for each meal), one kind of salad, and beverages including tea, coffee, milk, and there is a different local special sweet beverage for each meal. In terms of taste, as an Asian, I think the taste is acceptable, but for Europeans and Americans, it may be too monotonous.| |Fourth, entertainment. If you are just here for snorkeling, it's not a problem. The hotel provides all snorkeling equipment, including masks, snorkels, flippers and life jackets. It also provides two snorkeling trips at sea every day. The charge depends on the package you ordered (the package I ordered includes two snorkeling trips at sea so there is no additional charge). There are 2-3 snorkeling spots, all near the island. You can also pay a little more to participate in snorkeling near different islands and see rare marine creatures such as sea turtles. (But personally, I think it's not necessary unless you must see sea turtles). Devil rays, sharks, barracudas and other rare marine creatures can be seen on the beach in front of the hotel and within a range of about 1 kilometer nearby. It has to be said that the ecological environment is really very good. If you are here for scuba diving, as far as I know, this hotel currently rarely supports this activity. The number of active people in their diving center is too small. During my five-day stay, I didn't see anyone scuba diving here. However, you can go to the Summer Bay Hotel next door for scuba diving. It is only five minutes away from Sari.| |Fifth, service. The hotel is not staffed with many service personnel (I think it is related to its relatively small number of guests), but overall, the service is enthusiastic. They wear warm smiles and are willing to help you solve problems.| |Overall, for the hotel's environment, beach, and tranquility, I can give it more than 9 points. But in terms of entertainment, I can only give 6 points (after all, there is still the snorkeling project). If you are here for scuba diving, you will probably be disappointed. In terms of facilities and equipment, I can only give 3-4 points (after all, as a small island far from the mainland, the environment can still let you have a comfortable sleep, but don't expect too much else). The dilapidated equipment and outdated facilities really make people who are used to staying in hotels feel a gap. Come sottolineato in altre recensioni, le camere avrebbero bisogno di un bel restyling. Ho messo 5 stelle per i seguenti motivi: Abbiamo soggiornato in un garden bungalow con arredo vetusto, ma pulito e dotato di tutto il necessario (aria condizionata, frigo bar, phon, sala da bagno enorme). Abbiamo trascorso 4 giorni a Lang Tengah dopo averne trascorsi 4 a Pulau Besar. Si tratta di una piccola isola, molto tranquilla, adatta a chi vuole immergersi nella natura e nel relax. Il mare è spettacolare, a mio avviso le Perhentian non reggono il confronto. Tornando al Resort: curate le aree comuni (reception, sala pranzo, i giardini). Buono il mangiare, sia a buffet che a la carte. Personale molto cortese e sempre pronto ad accogliere ogni nostra richiesta. Il resort è situato sulla spiaggia più bella dell'isola e a poche bracciate da riva raggiungerete un ottimo punto per fare snorkeling dove potrete avvistare squaletti di barriera, pesci balestra e molti altri. La struttura è ben inserita nel contesto naturalistico a differenza del Summer Bay, enorme blocco di cemento che ammazza la paesaggistica. (Allego le foto dei rispettivi ingressi per rendere meglio l'idea). Quest'ultimo ha un pò disturbato il nostro soggiorno con un continuo via e vai di barche e fiumi di turisti. Se siete alla ricerca della tranquillità, con un mare paragonabile a quello delle Maldive, suggerisco il Sari Pacifica.

DO NOT COME TO THIS HOTEL!! A very TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE and TRAUMATIC experience for a holiday, my friend and I stayed one night and we have no choice but to forfeit the package and shifted over to Summer Bay Resort. This hotel is not what it described in their website. Their facilities is horribly run down, so dirty every where.

Toilet: the bathroom shower water flow has such low pressure that cant even bathe, toilet unable to flush due to low pressure too, rusty jacuzzi, the floor is disgustingly dirty. There is a gap between the toilet floor and room floor, i was so scared that some insects/animals etc underneath would enter our room.

Room: The room is so dusty. The furniture like tables, chairs in the room was decaying and moldy. The plug point socket was so dangerous that it comes off when I tried to remove my charger. Wardrobe appeared to be broken and moldy. The fridge is so gross that it is full with stains. The bed linen is so dirty, dusty, i wonder if there is bed bugs because i have itchiness after lay in bed. Difficulty in locking the room door because the key was rusty.

Facilities: The swimming pool filled with algae. Upon asking more activities such as spa massage, the staffs claimed the massager went for holiday. Requested for kayak, the staff mentioned that their kayak was broken. And also the hotel will cut off electric supply everyday 10am-12pm.

I advised do not waste money staying in this hotel. These are the real photos that i took from the hotel, do not trust what they shown in website. The staffs don't even care about our complaints. It does not even deserve any Single Star.

Very beautiful island with great scenery White sands and clear waters. You can swim with the fishes and see baby sharks.

Resort is quite dated and old. But service is good. Kitchen food is delicious.

Our holiday was ruined from the terrible behaviour of one of their staff named Sue. The fact that she made many mistakes would have been acceptable had she kept a kind and professional attitude. We stayed courteous when pointing out the contradictory information she was giving us, but she became rude, unwilling to help and purposely tormenting. Unacceptable for someone in the hotel business.

overpriced hotel for the services! almost 2500RM for 2 nights in a room for 4 people... I know we are on an island and everything costs more... but this is theft! if I had paid half as much, I would not have said anything.. but here, I let you look at the photos. this is unacceptable! I do not recommend coming to this hotel at all, unless you have great discounts.
