I only have two things Sarawak Tourism could improve:

1. I arrived at Sarawak International Airport on Friday, 18 April 2025 around 10 AM and waited until 1 PM. During that time, I saw two electric Bus 103s heading to Semenggoh Wildlife Centre, roughly an hour apart. Strangely, the Kuching Metro app didn’t show any of them stopping at the airport toward the city. It felt like they were intentionally skipping the airport. Hope this can be investigated.

2. The airport is actually closer to Semenggoh than the city centre, but there’s no self-service luggage storage. I asked the receptionist, and they confirmed there isn’t even a shop that accepts bags. That’s a missed opportunity — visitors could go straight to Semenggoh without making a detour into the city just to store luggage.

Bus driver on QAB6788B from Semenggoh to DUN turned off engine after turning into Jalan Semarak and angrily told us five remaining passengers to either leave bus or wait in bus “for a few hours” as he wants to go eat lunch since he didn’t have time to eat before his shift started.

We (two Indonesians, one Chinese, one Singaporean and one Malaysian tourists) were left speechless and only got to our feet to protest when he shut us in the bus. We told him we’d suffocate in the hot bus with door closed so he left door open and walked off.

17 mins later, he strolls back to bus with not a word of apology and resumes the drive to DUN.

VERY BAD IMPRESSION of an otherwise efficient and well-planned service by Kuching Metro due to unprofessional driver.

I found some tourist places are too bossy. Macam tu old court dan Renee muzium. Saya bawa atok pusing2 Kuching pagi hari biar tak panas. nak pegi toilet karena mana2 pun masih tutup pun tak boleh bagi itu code untuk toilet. So commercial la!! Tak ada tu tengat rasa tuk warga emas, suruh tu, harus jalan jauh tu, dah lambat pula, tuk pergi ke public tandas.

Kecewa dengan public facilities tu. Belum pula tadi cross on pedestrian pathway pun, tu kereta tetap laju kencang, padahal atok tu sudah di tengah jalan, Middle of pedestrian pathway, crossing from Mereka Palace Hotel tempat kami menginap. Tak da manner tu. Pun tuk crossing ke padang merdeka pun tak ada crossing place. Macam mana public gathering place tak da tempat seberang tuk pejalan kaki la?

Shopping centre yang baharu sekali pun tak banyak letak public seating. Macam Viva City... Too Comercial la. Tak pikir kepentingan public cuma pikir profit tu saja.

That why I go in.if all ppl go in n ask u ask scan barcode only. Why u need a counter. Then d madam no smile n talk also not nice voice

@tourismsarawak please help to improve for all international flights. They should be able to explore the outlets at departure, this will improves the business and the passengers have decent meals before board the plane. Happy passengers happy journey.

Congratulations to moving here, and I have to say the interior of the office is very modern, yet comfortable. STB has taken the entire too floor, which is a one open concept office, compared to the old one at Yayasan building. Well done STB, and hopefully the mall gets more tenants in the building.

The office interior design is unique and custom to local cultural. The environment is beautiful and warm hospitality. It is located at the heart of Kuching city and is accessible to all tourist.

went to Miri Tourism Board just now, the guy was talking very rude to us. asked about the red packets as we called Kuching Tourism Board and she told us to go to Miri office. This is how u treat visitors from JB?!
