No frills restaurant. Dining beside the fishing trawlers and workers deshelling shrimps.

Total damage: $397 for 10 adults (5 seafood dishes, 1 vegetable and 1 soup; Chinese tea by-the-pot)

We ordered 4 dishes. Only 2 were above average, namely, the clam in broth and the butter milk squid. With its questionable freshness, the steamed grouper was a let down. The stewed pork with cabbage was also average. Don't expect the place to be very clean as the restaurant is just next to the jetty. However, if one wishes for nice pictures taken of a bustling fish port, this will be the destination in Sungai Besar. The total cost is RM 134. It's pretty pricey for average dishes in a small town.

I came this place during chinese new year unfortunately need long wait. So this round I balik kampung , I come again. Cos not a holidays so only wait around 20 minutes the dishes out.
Overall the place not bad. The price only rm 79 for 4 dishes for 2 of us.
The fish fresh but I choose the cooking style not the best. The kong pou style bak tao ( big sotong) very good.

Their food was quite nice, tasty, reasonably priced, the portion of food was reasonably huge and their service was super fast. Friendly, helpful and informative staffs who recommended their food offerings while advising the portion based on the numbers of guests.
Located towards the end of the road besides the fisherman's loading area. Frankly, a little bit of fishy smells surrounding the restaurant due to the nature of businesses operating there. A simple restaurant set up with plenty of parking spaces across the restaurant.
Deep Fried Mantis Prawns, Lala fried with sambal sauces, Gabbage fried with dried prawns mixed with sambal sauce are nicely cooked and the taste was super tasty. The seafood was fresh as compared to other surrounding restaurants, bigger portions and very reasonable prices.
Never judge a book by its cover. Will definitely come again to taste their other food offerings. No regrets driving all the way there from Kuala Lumpur.

Waited around 40 minutes for our food but it was worth the wait! Excellent fresh seafood & can get to choose from the many types of fishes covered with ice inside big cooler box! Real home style Teo Chew dishes with lady boss doing the cooking! The 3 dishes I ordered taste nice & the fish & sotong very fresh! Prices very reasonable. Will definitely be back again!

The food was quite delicious especially the fish and crab and the cooking style is not the usual one you can find at other places. However, the food were serve rather slow and service was bad as they were understaffed.
