On a recent trip back to my hometown from Singapore, my family and I decided to dine at Hobg Hock Restaurant, and it was an excellent choice!

We ordered six dishes, and every single one was delicious. The flavors were well-balanced, and the quality of the food truly stood out. The portions were generous, perfectly satisfying the eight of us without any compromise on taste or presentation.

The restaurant's environment added to the experience – it was comfortable and ideal for enjoying a good meal. The customer service was commendable, with the staff being attentive and polite.

What truly impressed us was the affordability of the meal. With such delicious food, ample portions, and a pleasant ambiance, the pricing was very reasonable.

I would highly recommend Hong Hock Restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience in town. It’s a place I’ll definitely return to in the future!

Came for lunch and ordered flower crabs and prawns.

Both tasted very fresh.

The staff are helpful and friendly.

The place has air-conditioning and felt cool during the hot weather outside. Had fresh coconut juice too, prepared from just cut tender coconuts.

The price is very reasonable.

Attended a wedding here. Super old school I must say. But nice vibes and great food.

Their service attitude weren’t the best but the food they serve is very delicious, and the price is also affordable, the chicken is tender and juicy , their squid is chewy and the fish is very fresh, totally will recommend this place

Overall cleanliness: 6/10 (not sure is fly season)
Price: RM130.00 for 5 dish.
Operation hours: start 11.30am.
Parking space: limited.

Food: Excellent for the price. The meat and vegetables is fresh.

Butter prawn dish is awesome. Clay pot kangkong (water spinach) dish, tasty belacan "lovin it". Stingrays Thai sauce dish with a hint of sour tastes so yummy eat with hot rice. Fried sotong (calamari) just nice.

All dish tasty, no aftertaste MSG and not salty.

Don't let its run down look put you off as this is a hidden gem of a seafood restaurant. Prices are reasonable and their signature dishes are just delicious. Be there early as there tend to be a queue if you're late. Best to make a reservation to avoid being disappointed.
