The place to get my “luxury” fix during my childhood years. Highly recommended for those who want to try Malaysia high quality Tze Char!

Highly Recommended Dishes:
• Satay Cuttlefish 沙爹吊片🦑
• Drunken Fresh Water Prawn 醉河虾🦐
• Steamed Fish 酱蒸尼罗红🐟
• Golden Crispy Chicken 金龙鸡🐓

Tip: Just bear with the lady boss’ black face… she is kind but just looks like that since decades ago 😂

The food quality is excellent, and I highly recommend the drunken prawn, which is incredibly tasty and full of flavor.

In terms of service, the food is served quickly, which is satisfying. However, the waiting staff could be more attentive, such as by refilling the hot water for the teapot more promptly. Despite this, the overall dining experience was very enjoyable.

My family frequented this restaurant since my childhood. Food quality stil maintained. Especially the lemon chicken. Love the thick lemon sauce to dip with fried chicken. Taste the same after so many years.

This is my first time order prawn dish. As the ladyboss said 淡水虾is their signature. However the steam prawn taste bland. Lack of prawn sweetness too. With such pricing and my thin wallet. No next time for prawn dish again.

Anyway we will stil come back again for the lemon chicken.
Waiting time can be longer when there are few tables occupied. Small town restaurant couldn't cope with large crowd on public holidays. Patience is needed though if the restaurant is about half full 😐

The fresh water big prawns we ordered and steamed with egg white was delicious. It's expensive but worth it. The fish we ordered was steamed with ginger and gravy and it was fresh and tasty. The Chinese Spinach(Bayam) stir-fried with garlic was well cooked, not salty and not oily. We would definitely visit this restaurant when
next in Segamat again.
