Food was good. Mine was smoked salmon pasta. It was creamy and delicious. Both aglio olio was good but the spicy option was a little bit spicy for our preference. Had the all you can scoop tiramisu. It’s okay okay. We sat directly under the ac but I’m not sure why it’s a bit warm and not cold, like I can’t feel the ac. Anyway, food was good, I recommend!

I visited Pokok with my colleagues for lunch for the 1st time. We had a very good experience. Our server, Harun is friendly and nice. He’s knowledgeable of the menu and is able to recommend us what’s popular and good in the cafe. He’s funny and has a good customer service skills. Food and drinks were serve in a timely manner and we didn’t have to wait long for our food. Food and drinks are generally good, although personally I’m not a fan of the pasta choices.

I would give this a 4 for the food since its abit cheaper than other cafe by comparison, however that does come at a weird experience such as wet aglio oglio, the steak 120z with egg is super thinned out (also over salted). The matcha dessert is not sweet even a little, its pure grass. It has nice furniture and has the potential to have amazing food its there, but the setbacks are interesting to say the least, the tagline "Taste the Experience" is definitely true because its an experience of how your so close to being amazing cafe but the setbacks are massive. Drinks are cool tho.

seafood chowder is good， love the rich flavour, and lots of seafood in there, surely they didn’t cut on their budget ! 🥰 I appreciate it.

However baked farm was a let down, it’s like a frozen food being baked thawed , insides are watery, and the capsicum were lembut lembek

Thankfully, they have great service, upon receiving our feedback during checkout, the staff kindly let us pick a dessert for free, and mentioned that they could’ve changed the dish for us if we told them earlier.

Thanks for the kind service. Maybe we would order something else in the future instead

We visited this café as part of our plan to try new places instead of sticking to the usual favourites.

First impressions were good — the space was bright and airy, and not crowded during brunch hour. Menu offerings were fairly standard café fare, though prices seemed a little on the premium side.

We ordered the Big Breakfast, Farm Bake, Nasi Lemak BOMB, a few lemonades, and later added the viral tiramisu.

Big Breakfast – Disappointing. The bread wasn’t toasted, which made it soggy under the scrambled eggs. The salad had just two cherry tomatoes within the greens, and the portion included one hash brown wedge, a chicken sausage, two thin chicken slices, and some mushrooms. It lacked substance for the price. 2/5

Nasi Lemak BOMB – The rice was creamy with a nice pandan aroma. But the beef rendang was tough and the ayam goreng berempah was dry. Flavours didn’t come together well. 2/5

Farm Bake – This was the biggest letdown. We were told it would take 20–30 minutes. After 30 minutes, it still wasn’t ready. Eventually, we were told there was a kitchen issue, and were offered a complimentary cheesecake as compensation. The dish finally arrived almost an hour — essentially a shakshouka-style bake with just two lamb meatballs. Not worth the wait or price. We couldn’t even finish it. 1/5

Tiramisu – Marketed as “scoop all you can,” but the taste didn’t impress. The mascarpone mix felt diluted with cream and lacked that rich, punchy flavour. 2/5

Overall, this was a pretty underwhelming experience. The service was polite, but the food didn’t deliver — especially at the price point. Hopefully others have better luck, but we likely won’t return.

staff sangat friendly especially Harun . makanan sedap air pon sedap !! pasta portion banyak boleh makan 2 orang kot . lepastu ada choice pedas ke tak . nasi lemak punya sambal perghhh mantap teruk . harap boleh kekalkan rasa tu . very recommended. will repeat again .

Had a fantastic experience at Pokok yesterday. The food was awesome, the ambience is fantastic and the service of their staffs are top notch. Special thanks and kudos to Harun who was there throughout we were dining over there making sure we are comfortable and food is take care well expecially we had some special requests. Will definitely come back again.

Had such a lovely brunch at Pokok! Super glad we booked ahead. It made things so smooth and we ended up chilling there for about an hour and a half.

Staff were all so friendly and efficient. Big kudos to the team, you guys are amazing. 💯

Food did not disappoint. Pesto pasta, smoked duck & seafood aglio olio, and creamy salmon carbonara were all hits. My aglio olio was a bit oily towards the end, but still tasty. Truffle fries were freshly fried (so good!) and the tiramisu cake with the one-scoop-all-you-want option was such a fun touch.

Perfect spot for gatherings. Only thing, we couldn’t spot a halal cert, which did make us hesitate at first. Since the menu is Malaysian/Western and most of the team seemed local, we went ahead anyway. Hopefully the management can work on getting certified soon! It would definitely give Muslim customers extra peace of mind.

P.S. If you’re done eating, don’t linger too long. Lots of people waiting for a table!
