Saya bukanlah seorang yang gemar meninggalkan ulasan, namun kali ini saya rasa bertanggungjawab untuk berkongsi pengalaman kami menginap di sini.
1. Isu Keselamatan
• Kawasan kolam renang menggunakan lantai Marbel yang licin dan tidak sesuai, terutamanya untuk kanak-kanak dan warga emas.
• Sistem pengaliran air kolam tidak lengkap (dan takungan kotor), menyebabkan air tidak bersih dan langsung tiada bau klorin.
• Ruang makan di tingkat atas hanya ditutup dengan dawai yang dipasang menggunakan skru, tanpa dinding atau penghadang yang selamat. Ini amat berbahaya kerana bahagian bawahnya sangat curam.
2. Tidak Sesuai untuk Percutian Keluarga
• Rumah ini bertingkat 4 dengan tangga yang curam dan menyukarkan pergerakan warga emas dan kanak-kanak dan tiada lift.
• Kemudahan tidak lengkap — beberapa bilik tidak sejuk kerana penghawa dingin tidak berfungsi dengan baik.
• Bantal, cadar dan sofa berbau rokok dan kelihatan kotor.
• Bilik karaoke tidak dilengkapi dengan sistem audio yang lengkap.
• Kolam renang dibahagikan kepada tiga bahagian kecil yang tidak sesuai untuk aktiviti keluarga.
• Ruang tamu terlalu sempit tidak dapat berkumpul keluarga.
• Tekanan air di bilik mandi sangat perlahan.
• Lokasi rumah agak jauh dari bandar dan kemudahan awam.
• Terdapat banyak serangga kecil dan nyamuk di dalam rumah.
3. Ejen yang Tidak Profesional
• Ejen tidak mesra dan menggunakan nada ancaman.
• Deposit RM500 tidak dipulangkan atas alasan yang tidak munasabah.
• Kami turut dituduh dengan pelbagai dakwaan yang tidak berasas, seperti yang boleh dilihat dalam komen mereka sendiri dibawah “(Jess Lim) “
Kesimpulan
Tujuan saya menulis ulasan ini bukanlah untuk memburukkan sesiapa, tetapi untuk berkongsi pengalaman sebenar kami. Kami hanya ingin berkumpul dan menikmati masa bersama keluarga, namun malangnya pengalaman ini bertukar menjadi sesuatu yang sangat mengecewakan.
Jika anda sedang mempertimbangkan tempat ini, kami nasihatkan agar menjadikannya sebagai pilihan terakhir. Bagi kami, ini adalah kali pertama dan juga kali terakhir.

To Ms. Mariam and Ms. Jess,
Before hastily defaming us as a “scam family” and labeling us “thieves,” let us remind you to take a hard look at the service you provided and the condition of your property. Here are just a few of the very real issues we experienced during our stay:
1. The house had a persistent, unpleasant odor that lingered for quite some time.
2. The pillows provided had a strong, stinky smell—completely unhygienic and unacceptable.
3. Water pressure was extremely poor, making even basic tasks frustrating.
4. The swimming pool was dirty and clearly not maintained properly.
5. The area surrounding the pool was dangerously slippery, a serious safety hazard.
6. The stairways leading to multiple levels were unsafe, especially for children and the elderly.
7. The sharp edges around the pool area posed a risk of injury to anyone using the facility.
Now let’s address the baseless accusations made against us:
1. You claimed we were 60 people, when in fact, we had just slightly over 30 guests—well within reasonable capacity.
2. If access to certain rooms was not permitted, why were the doors left unlocked with keys in them? We only utilized the rooms that were accessible and believed to be allocated to us.
3. You accused us of leaving the house in a mess. That is untrue. We cleaned up after ourselves and ensured the place was left in an orderly condition.
4. You referred to us as “gangsters,” yet we were the ones receiving threatening phone calls demanding we remove our honest Google review. Who’s intimidating who?
Before pointing fingers and launching defamatory accusations, perhaps you should first address the glaring issues with your property and the serious lack of hospitality and professionalism !

Terrible experience and unprofessional. Came here for a family vacation, but was totally shocked at how dirty the place was. Full of rat droppings and cockroaches. The toilets were not cleaned properly as well. The karaoke room was full of cigerette smell. The pool was so dangerous as it was so slippery. The stairs were dangerous even for adults. Not a recommended stay for family gatherings at all.
To make it worst, the person who is in charge of the hse tried to scam us by not returning our security deposit of rm500. She (Mariam) tried to accuse us of damages that were not caused by us in the first place. She even told us that if we do a police report, she will charge us more money on the amount of damages incurred.
All in all, 0/5. If you're new to Penang and came for a vacation, there are other better places to stay.
*Right after these reviews, she msged us from a different number blackmailing us to remove our reviews.

Scammers. We had a very disappointing experience with this Airbnb villa. At first, everything seemed fine — but after check-out, the host refused to return our RM500 security deposit without valid reason. Suddenly, we were blamed for a long list of issues. Blamed us for pool water beeing oily, rooms forced open and door locks being broken(main complaints)
To justify withholding our deposit, the host even showed us their water bill(tunggakan), which is completely unrelated to our agreement or responsibility. This felt like an excuse rather than a genuine concern.
We treated the property with care, followed the house rules, and left it in good condition. It’s upsetting to be treated this way . I would not recommend this place to others, especially if you value fairness and transparency.

In response to the allegation and attempt to paint us in a bad picture by Miss Jess:
1. We are not a bunch of liars or scam family like she accused. It was her and Miss Mariam spinning this whole thing with baseless accusations with 0 evidence. 60 people? She started the reply itself with a lie. We were only 32 adults and 4 kids and 2 infants. We have strong evidence of this. In fact, this is also visible from whatever CCTV she has. We dont have any reason to lie about this.
2. We were rude? The way they tried to accuse us of EVERY SINGLE THING clearly shows who was rude.
3. To add on she sent us the water bill with RM800++ tungakkan, together with a notis that the water supply may be cut if payment of rm500 is not done. So I guess someone hasn't been paying the water bills and are trying to blame us for it? Since when does PBA provide water bills the very next day? PBA water bills are sent every 2 months. She said she's in this business for more than 19 years and cant even manage bills and accomodation maintanence. You can even see the bill date mentioned in the bill itself. We are from Penang, and we know how the system works.
4. We are a decent educated family comprising of doctors, engineers and teachers with kids. We don't have the need to lie, or to scam anyone. We are not cheap people. The mistake we did? We were too nice to overlook all problems in the hse when we first entered. And we ended up getting all the blame. If you claim there was oil-like debris floating in the pool, that shows your poool has no proper circulation system.
5. We left the house in a mess? You have no idea what mess we walked into. The cleaner claimed to have had people the previous day and they were just cleaning the pool prior to our check in, but Miss Mariam in her message said that they were cleaning for 2 days. Also, there were rat droppings everywhere. Wait till the health department shows up at their door.
6. As how she claimed that she showed us evidence when we left and we couldn't dispute is a LIE. For the record, she did not meet us when we checked out. Since our Miss Jess said there is CCTV, ask her to show prove of her meeting us at check out.
7. Police report? They hold no valid reason or proof at all. This whole thing was simply just to hold our RM500 because we booked directly to them.
We have been going for homestays every year, and this is the 1st time we are coming across such people who are just full of lies.
To whoever who is planning to book, make a proper judgement before you do. We don't get anything out of this except for frustration alone. We would never get back our deposit but I hope Miss Mariam and Jess knows that what goes around comes around. 19 years in operation and yet you can hardly find any review about this place on other platforms. Something fishy. If you google about this place, there was in fact someone who commented about this place having issues with pests (cockroaches). Also upon surveying around we found another group of people who also got scammed by this group (We have evidence).
So judge yourself. This is an honest review.

Went on a stay with whole family. Had a very bad experience. Place not clean. Had rat droppings in the dining hall and also pool area. Cigarette smell in the rooms. Water pressure in the bathrooms like snail crawling out of it. The pool area flooring is terrible. Sharp edges around the pool and floor is super slippery. Almost fell few times. Not to mention “ friendly” bugs- centipede and mosquitoes. Overall won’t come again this place ever and won’t recommend at all to others. Don’t get deceived by the advertisement saying discount if personal contact and not without air bnb or other booking agency. Not friendly place for children as well. Stair cases not protected and steep.

Kami menyewa rumah Banglo ini untuk liburan keluarga. Tetapi Sangat kecewa dengan pengalaman check out di rumah Banglo ini. Setelah kami selesai menginap dan hendak check out, pemilik rumah menahan RM500 dari deposit kami secara sepihak, dengan alasan kolam renang berminyak dan kotor. Padahal selama kami menginap, kolam renang memang sudah tidak terlalu bersih sejak awal dan ada binatang (frog) — dan kami tetap menjaganya sebaik mungkin.
Yang lebih mengecewakan, tidak ada pemberitahuan atau bukti yang jelas diberikan. Tidak ada komunikasi profesional sebelum keputusan itu dibuat. Kami merasa tidak diperlakukan dengan adil sebagai tamu yang sudah membayar penuh dan menjaga properti dengan baik.
Kami tidak menyarankan tempat ini jika Anda mengharapkan sistem deposit yang transparan dan pelayanan yang jujur.

For the record, we were 35 adults and 4 kids under 5 years old, definitely not 60 people—unless, of course, you're experiencing double vision. If so, perhaps you should check with a doctor before making baseless claims. Because the double vision might due to tumor at pituitary compression your optic chiasma.
Also, are you working with PBA? Impressive how you got your water bill info within a day. If you're that well-connected, maybe help us by reporting the low water pressure in this area?
You’ve mentioned a “broken door” and “locked room” with “police reports” and even said, “we opened in front of them.” That’s some next-level hallucination, Madame Dim Sum Supreme.
Let’s be real: you never even confronted us.
As a friendly suggestion, stop spreading falsehoods or scamming people online. What goes around comes around.
