Recommend to all.
RM115 double room, I booked from Booking.com, no need deposit, but need to pay RM3 Ipoh Tourism Tax.
Room is clean and well decorated, bed sheet is white and clean, toilet also clean.
Inside room has heater, kettle, hairdryer, TV, air conditioner, hair&body shampoo, toothbrush & toothpaste, all functional and good.
Staff are friendly, they even give a gift when leaving.
Location is great, food everywhere, close to Chinese traditional pastries street.

As much as I’d like to give this hotel a better review, I can’t due to the awful candy store next door which plays insanely loud music every single night until very late (2AM!) which makes it impossible to sleep! The hotel staff is lovely and well aware, they give out earplugs during check in (never a good sign) but no earplugs help with that noise, it’s just horrible. The rooms are good value for money and clean. Lots of restaurants, cafes etc nearby and the old town is walking distance. Such a shame really as this will impact their business and they need to do something about the noise.

Prima hotel. Helaas heeft geen enkele kamer een raam. Buiten is een winkel die de hele nacht door enorm harde geluidsfragmenten afspeelt waardoor slapen soms moeilijk is. Hiervoor worden in het hotel wel oordopjes uitgedeeld.

Me and my friend stayed here for one night. The receptionist, Uncle William, was incredibly helpful and warmly greeted us upon our arrival. He explained everything about the safety door, facilities, and more. Then, he gave us fresh oranges and escorted us to our room.

We were pleasantly surprised when we entered the bedroom—it was so spacious and spotless! The room felt incredibly comfortable, and even the bathroom was exceptionally clean. Uncle William also helped us set up YouTube and Netflix on the TV.

The next morning, we checked out and left our bags in the lobby. When we returned to the hotel later, two other uncles greeted us warmly—they were so friendly! The staff had already given us a personal gift at checkout, but before we left, the uncles gave us even more gifts.

It truly felt like staying at my uncle’s house. Their hospitality and cozy atmosphere exceeded my expectations, making me wish I could stay longer!

The hotel itself is nice. Nothing to complain about really. The rooms was good, it was clean and the staff was friendly. Good value for money.

However, there's a restaurant or something just below the hotel that plays music without any regard for other people. They blast music at a loud volume every day until late night. The hotel is aware and hands out earplugs at checkin, but it's not enough. The first two nights the volume was not too bad and we slept well with the earplugs. The music went off around 11.30. But the 3rd night it was relentless, blasting loud music until 2 am. Not even the earplugs helped.

The hotel must do something (call the police on them for disturbance etc) about these people to make it stop or it's going to be tough to run a hotel here to be honest.
