Currently no entrance ticket or fee is charged. But there was donation box at the entrance. Very nice natural stone/rock garden. Nature scenery is so beautiful. But it's so hot there even we were there around 10-11 am not even at the hottest time like 1-4 pm. The picture of the stream is colour enhanced already. Naturally is just some brownish colour stream.

They don't have proper parking so please park at your own risk and considerate of other vehicles. Entry is free, they have donation box before you enter, do donate generously.
The maze is bigger than I thought. We didn't managed to finish all. You need to think out of the box and great imagination for the natural rock shape.
Most favourite part is the river stream with small fishes. We saw one "terrapin" inside too. RM 2 for the fish food. But a lot of rubbish near the stream. The rubbish bin is not obvious so maybe that's why. Do help clean up the place when you visit.

Paku Rock Maze di Bau memang satu lokasi menarik yang jarang diketahui ramai. Dari Kuching, perjalanan ambil masa lebih kurang 30-40 minit llebih. Tempat ini sesuai digabungkan sekali dengan lawatan ke Fairy Cave, Wind Cave dan juga Blue Pond — jadi bolehlah buat “combo trip” sehari penuh. Parkir agak terhad sebab kawasan masuk melalui tokong Cina, jadi mula-mula memang agak keliru untuk cari pintu masuk. Tapi jangan risau, masuk adalah percuma.

Sebaik sahaja masuk, suasana sangat cantik dengan formasi batu kapur yang unik. Bahagian awal agak tinggi, kemudian semakin rendah dan bersambung seperti lorong maze. Ada kawasan baru yang dipamerkan, dengan fosil di dalam batu — menarik untuk diperhatikan dengan teliti.

Kawasan agak panas, tapi ada juga banyak pokok yang memberi teduhan. Waktu bawa kanak-kanak, pastikan mereka sentiasa dekat sebab tempat ni memang mudah sesat.

Nyamuk pun agak banyak, jadi elok bawa mosquito patch atau spray. Suasana di sini memang ada “Jurassic Park vibe”, lebih-lebih lagi bila pengunjung tidak ramai, rasa sedikit eerie tapi seronok. Keseluruhannya, Paku Rock memang berbaloi untuk dilawati!

Paku Rock Maze in Bau is a hidden gem worth exploring. From Kuching, it takes less than an hour’s drive, and it’s best visited together with Fairy Cave, Wind Cave and Blue Pond as a recommended combo trip. Parking is limited since the entrance is through a Chinese temple, which can be confusing at first. The good news: admission is free.

Once inside, the place is stunning with fascinating limestone formations. It starts with high rocks before leading into lower passages that form a maze-like trail. There’s also a newly showcased area featuring fossils embedded in the rocks — definitely worth a closer look. The place can get quite hot, although there are plenty of trees for shade. If you’re bringing kids, keep them close as it’s easy to get lost inside the maze.

Mosquitoes are common, so remember to bring repellent or patches. The atmosphere has a bit of a “Jurassic Park” feel, especially when it’s quiet with few visitors around — slightly eerie but exciting. Overall, Paku Rock Maze is a great stop and absolutely worth the visit!

At present moment, visitingbthis Rock Maze is still free but I believe plans are a foot go collect fee to enter in the near future. I hope the fees will be minimal. Otherwise, it will be deserted.

Beautiful rock formation. Entrance is free and parking is free at the temple nearby. I do hope the management minimize man-made structures withing the Maze as it took away its natural charm.

During our visit we encountered human feces in between one of the rocks and it was pretty disgusting. I hope every visitors take extra care to protect this natural wonders.

Free entrance. Parking available at the temple. Donation box available for the maintenance of the garden and temple. Toilet available, old style but clean.

Trail suitable for children and elderly. Many unique and different form of rock formation. Inside have resting area too. Will take about 1 hour to explore the area. Do wear mosquitoes repellent and proper shoe. Not advisable to go during rainy season as some terrain flooded with water and unable to walk.

Mula masuk tercari2 dimana rock maze garden yang dimaksudkan. Rupanya ada disebalik tokong cina. Entrance sedkikit mengelirukan untuk pemula.
