From the lovely ambiance with live music and comfortable seating to the exceptional food and attentive service, my dining experience was truly impressive. The juicy, sweet oysters were a standout, but the perfectly cooked steak and flavourful grilled squid were equally delightful. Kumar, our server, provided knowledgeable and helpful recommendations, enhancing the overall experience. I highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning to Penang to explore more of their menu.

Had a dinner session with family and friend, we walked in with a high table but it’s ok, space and all are still fine with a table of 6 adults and a baby. Staffs are friendly and foods are served in a good pace. Overall really a nice place to have a drink and eatery.

Firstly, we made bookings and pre-ordered the crab rice, secondly, to be fair it was Father’s Day and the restaurant was quite packed. But here is the timeline for you to judge.

We booked for 7pm and arrived approximately 7:10pm, table was ready and we were served immediately which was a great start. Then, we were told that the crab rice will take 50mins to an hour which to us was not happy news as we pre-booked and was not expecting that, I however understood the explanation given (ie, pre-booked means the portion reserved but will only prepare upon order and the time required is that). However, I felt that this should be communicated before so we have proper expectations or maybe take a deposit next time and prepare early. But anyways we ordered the rest immediately upon arriving cause we knew what we wanted.

7:25pm first drink was served, second one came 10 mins later and third drink never made to the order oops (and came much later in the meal) Sparkling Lemonade was 5⭐️

7:56pm Lobster roll was served, almost 40mins since sitting down, wasn’t amazing but wasn’t bad, lobster seasoned well but overcooked to my liking. 2⭐️

8:06pm Tomahawk pork was served. The pork was tender and perfect, the sauce was ok (my friends didn’t like the sauce, it’s sweet a little bit tangy barbecue) but it was pretty good to me, pork was really amazing, sauce was meh. 4 ⭐️

8:07pm The STARTER came mid-meal (like whaaaat that’s wild) we had the crab meat ikura bikini. I find it decent, my friends found the mayo to be overpowering, but it was pretty good to my tastebuds. 4⭐️

8:11pm came the infamous crab rice, which was served and have to wait 5 mins at the table (but at this point we were fed and not hangry so it was ok) taste was underwhelming probs due to my expectations from all the hype on social media ads but it wasn’t bad. 3⭐️

8:29pm came the chili crab and mantou. At this point I told my friend to cancel it if it ain’t coming but it came piping hot. It wasn’t my thing so based on my friends taste buds it’s a 3⭐️

If disregarding the price, I would say the taste and ambience was pretty good, service time really needs improvement. But this meal cost slightly over RM400 (3 pax). I get that what we ordered was not cheap per se, but for RM400+ you would expect a better service flow. Of course the servers, managers and wait staffs were extremely polite and friendly and they did try to hurry along our crab rice after our displeasure. Did check on us about the food. But yeah, taste is subjective. Can’t say if I’ll visit again, but if I do I sure hope the service flow gets better. Ambience was really on point and portion size was fair.

Had our first Valentine’s meal here, and it was a great experience!

The food was good—giving it 4 stars for now, as I’d love to try other dishes next time and compare.

Service was excellent, especially from the outlet supervisor, Kumar. He has a great sense of humor and jokingly told me it would cost RM50 per song request for the live singing service. His playful service made our dinner even more enjoyable with some laughter.

The atmosphere was decent, though we found it a bit warm inside, especially since we were seated near the door leading to the outdoor area. It would be better if the air conditioning was cooler.

Overall, a great spot! We’ll definitely be back whenever we’re craving seafood.

Here for the Father’s Day celebration and the food really amazed us especially the crab rice is really worth the price and definitely will come back again .
A big shout out to the staff Kumar , his service is outstanding.
Really a good dining experience here 👍🏻
