I stayed at the Iftitah Chalet in Belawai and was very disappointed with the experience. The chalet was not properly maintained, with sand everywhere inside, and it had an unpleasant smell. The water supply kept stopping, which was highly inconvenient. Additionally, there was no Qiblat sign provided, which is essential for Muslim guests. For the price charged, the experience was far from satisfactory. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless these issues are addressed.

room condition very very very bad and the blankets seem like unwashed, very dirty and got mite and many sandflies (caused allergy),there were lizard in the bedroom
, too noisy, can't sleep well. The bathroom door cannot closed well. poor sound insulation,. The room has terrible smell. Not recommended.

The resort is pretty run-down, therefore don't hold any high expectations, especially the accommodation. It sure requires a major maintenance or even a serious overhaul to make it appealing. Anyway, if you're planning to come here for a getaway per se, then I would recommend it. You can rent a barbecue spot of your choice for either 20 ringgit or 30 ringgit. Spend one or two hours here, afterwards you can hit the road and say sayonara.

Diff rate stated by OYO, and simply denied if fully booked although we bought from OYO (need to ask refund only from OYO). The resort will not refund you. So make up ur mind and check directly from the resort itself before place booking from OYO etc. By d way, been offered another room, which ready to rent, but the condition wow, so smelly like it was used as public toilet. Better check room before booked. And better walk-in if you really need to stay there. Beds and room condition, which we stayed, many sand everywhere, including toilet, on the mattress and floor. The aircond ok, but not so strategic as it is located above the cupboard, waste energy to fully cool. Well, luckily stayed only for short rest (even less than 14 hours nite rest) before continue our journey to MIRI. Anyway, thx for the shelter as we could rest and rehab.

Room did not prepared well, atas katil ada pasir, sampah dlm takung air mangkuk tandas, tandas x boleh nak flush, kena buka tempat takung air then tarik sendiri untuk flush, and then you use some kind of glass door at your room, So at least you put some curtain or anything else but just kosong, that is customer privacy, take it seriously please…. Im so disappointed…. I can accept bilik yg just moderate, katil biasa, just using fan, no hose in the toilet just using dipper (im not very kayangan person) , i can accept it but your room preparation for the customer is so bad, i cannot accept that, sorry….

Iftitah Resort & Restaurant started open in 2015. Currently, the resort is completed with 16 chalet/rooms and other facilities such as kid’s swimming pool, ATV and banana boat.||The restaurant able to locate maximum of 200 paxs with various food menu such as “Pipus” / Smoke Seafood, Nasi Beriyani, Nasi Lalapan and seafood “shellout”.|
