Super friendly staff. Diana was very helpful and I felt completely comfortable. The location is a bit outside the park (20 minutes on foot), but you can easily get dropped off and picked up. The dorm room was clean, with freshly made beds. At the time of my stay, dinner could be ordered for 25 RM – very tasty. Breakfast was also included, and the pancakes were the best I’ve had so far in Borneo. The bathroom was simple with no hot water, but at 35°C outside, you don’t really need it. In the room, almost every second bed had a fan; there was no AC. For the price in Mulu National Park, unbeatable – the competition was much more expensive.

房間乾淨，餐點很豐富，老闆人也很熱情。我們到國家公園跟返回都拜託老闆幫忙接送，每一個人5馬幣。感謝老闆的幫忙。

Overall, it was a excellent experience to be here. I was able to get a room on short notice. This accommodation has a comprehensive list of services available. Breakfast is included, lunch and dinner is 25RM each, Transport is 5RM per person, per direction, laundry is 10RM per KG and the host is able to assist to arrange for activities at the National Park. This is a place for budget conscious travellers. So, there is no hot water shower, no aircon and no Wi-Fi. 4G mobile network signal is stronger when you're sitting outside at the balcony and connected to Digi. Do note that there is also a very high demand for this Homestay. So, it is best to book in advance if you intend to stay at MDH. Overall, the accommodation exceeded my expectations and I wish Diana and her family best wishes and success and may the accommodation continue to expand and bring more adventure-goers to Mulu.

Stay at mulu diana homestay that feel very comfortable. Bed and room also very good. Dinner and transportation also other facilities well enough. The place has very pretty view. Diana and her family also very kind and supportive. Overall peaceful and lovely place.

This was one of the best stays on our trip!

Diana was an amazing host. Somehow juggling airport pickups, drop offs to the National park (only a 20 min walk if you are happy to walk), and cooking for all the guests, her ‘no problem’ attitude made things seamless and enjoyable.

The best part of the stay was most definitely her cooking! The best meals we had in all of Borneo and all traditional local food.

The rooms are basic - no air con, no hot water for showers, but the ceiling fans made it fine and it was hot enough a cold shower was welcomed! It’s good value for money and clean which is what matters most.

The atmosphere was great; it's a true "kampung style" homestay. The food was nice too. The room was clean, and while the toilet facilities reflected the budget-friendly price, it wasn't a major issue. There's no water heater, but that wasn't a problem given the hot weather. They didn't provide a hairdryer, so don't forget to bring your own. They have two personal in-house tour guides available. They provide free water, but you need to boil it before drinking as it is rainwater.

Diana wasn't around during our first three days, so we couldn't experience the highly-rated service until she returned. Unfortunately, we couldn't sleep on the first night, despite the heavy rain outside. It was so hot inside the room that the two fans couldn't help. There was only one window in the room, and it faced the new building, blocking any airflow. Worse, we couldn't open the toilet door because there was no mosquito net on the window, so mosquitoes kept flying in whenever we opened it. What a disaster. I hope they will put a mosquito net on the window. However, they upgraded our room after we complained. The big room, which accommodates eight people, had two windows and better ventilation, so they let us stay there since no other guests were staying.
