I was on Tioman for 4 weeks and this little family business is my favorite restaurant. It's affordable and the menu has a lot of different options. The whole family works there and theny are so kind and friendly. My favorite dish is the eggplant Sambal with rice and the tofu. I'd recommend the restaurant!
They open whenever they want (island time lol) but when I left they were definitely open for lunch. 🙂

Toujours un plaisir de venir manger chez eux. Tous avec un sourire chaleureux dès qu'ils nous voient. Je me régale à chaque repas. J'ai même envie de me péter le bide tellement c'est bon.
Avec mon père, on a pris une petite routine :
- Au petit déjeuner : Un banana pancake avec un ice lemon tea (le papa sourit toujours quand on est là. On est spotted 😆).
- Le midi : On goûte de tout. La cuisinière (la maman ❤️) nous a même conseillé des plats. Et c'était troooop bon. Et gros coup de cœur pour le "tomato salad" en entrée.
Bref : un restaurant que j'adore.
Et je précise que les prix sont vraiment corrects.
A savoir : la maman est seule à préparer les plats. Donc cela peut prendre du temps pour que votre plat arrive. Ça tombe bien : ça vous laisse du temps de décompresser avec la chaleur et de papoter avec vos proches ❤️

Ristorante familiare con ottimo cibo locale e non. In particolare chicken sambal (piccante!!), egg plant sambal e zuppa egg tofu! Il servizio funziona con molta calma quindi se siete di fretta o impazienti non è il posto per voi.
Esperienza assolutamente positiva, ritorneremo sicuramente.

Wir haben 8 Tage auf Tioman verbracht und waren jeden Tag hier essen. Leckere Gerichte, sehr zu empfehlen sind auch die Milkshakes und Säfte. Super Frühstück, Mittagessen und Abendessen - mit Blick aufs Meer. Noch dazu sind die Besitzer super freundlich und nett. Ganz große Empfehlung!

Pyszne jedzenie. Bardzo miła obsługa - pani została po zamknięciu, żebyśmy mogli spokojnie skończyć posiłek (nie zauważyliśmy godziny zamknięcia). Polecamy.

Mia Café is a great place. We had fresh fish in two different variations for dinner and both have been yummy! 🤤 The owners are very kind-hearted people. We’ll definitely go there again. 🤩

I had lunch at Mia's Cafe twice already and it's so far my favorite restaurant on the island.
The lime juice is great, the eggplants sambal and spicy ginger and garlic tofu are both super delicious and not that spicy in my opinion. The pineapple pancake was also nice and I preferred it over the chocolate pancake.

It can be a little weird to see the sign that order is closed but it basically just means you have to be patient. I saw it put out and packed away several times while eating there and I think it is more of a guide as to how long it will take until you get your food. Compared to western standards it will probably still be a normal time even if you order while the sign is out / wait until order is open again.

It's at least currently not open for dinner and also closed on Wednesday (like many places at Juara Beach), so don't necessarily trust the opening times on Google but rather pass by and ask about the opening times for the next couple of days.
