My wife and I tried 1 hr foot and 1 hr full body massage here for convenience as it was near our hotel. The prices are more or less the same as Thai Odyssey so we were expecting the same standard.

Long story short it's not.

Foot massage was OK, quite decent but masseuses lack the same level of skill as Thai Odyssey.

Overall amenities and service are OK but not as premium.

The full body massage was quite bad. The massage is very rough and I had quite a number of painful moments where my joints were abruptly hyperextended. I actually left the massage with a slight back sprain. Thai massage involves a lot of stretching but this needs to be done carefully and skillfully otherwise there is risk of injury.

Pressure also needs to be carefully applied to loosen knots. Masseuse's fingers and elbow were digging too deep most of the time, causing a lot of pain. Good Thai massage uses long flowing strokes along the muscles to loosen knots, not stabbing you repeatedly in the middle of the muscle, which just causes bruising.

We go for massage quite frequently and the masseuse here had some really weird techniques that I have never seen before. The one that takes the cake was trying to make me do a split. Like most 40 year olds I'm not flexible enough to do a split but she tried very hard to make it happen. It was neither useful nor comfortable. Other strange techniques included a single leg wheel barrow.

Left and right side techniques were also not balanced. It seemed like the masseuse was making it up as she went along.

She also stepped on my skin twice, squashed my nuts and no apology.

My masseuse was also down with the flu. The spa should not ask sick staff to come to work in this high touch environment.

Overall pretty bad will just make the 15 min drive to Thai odyssey next time.

Came here for the first time and the message was really good. The staff were friendly. Massagers did a really good job, pressured at the right point and it was worth the money. Will definitely come again

Whole place looks so clean and new even though already in operation for 2 years. Receptionist is very helpful. The waiting area is equipped with tidbits and drinks and felt so homely.
Only gripe was having to climb 3 levels up to the massage area. The massage was the best I had. My friends who went had the same testimony.
