Overall, both occasion alhamdulillah selesa. Price wise dengan service alhamdulillah selesa, lagi2 treatment dari staff - antaranya Miss Debby. Makanan alhamdulillah sedap, pilihan kopi dan teh memang selesa dan kena dengan situasi dan sambutan.

The hotel is new, clean and very comfortable. I stayed in a sea-view room with a lovely sunrise view. The surroundings are quiet, perfect for a relaxing stay. Staff were friendly and even gave me a cute welcome gift. Parking is spacious, and although there’s no direct lift to the lobby, the security staff were helpful with luggage.

The location is convenient with a food court just across the road, and there’s live music in the lobby at night. Overall, a pleasant and relaxing experience – I would definitely stay again.

I've stayed in this hotel for 3 nights, and I absolutely loved it. I was here for work, but I was nonetheless able to enjoy the pool and other amenities. I slept like a rose, the hotel is brand new (they had a soft launch opening in Feb 2025, but they opened for real only in July 2025). So everything is still new, fresh and extremely clean. The bed linnen was outstanding, the rooms super quiet, the water pressure in the shower very high, and the bath towels and robes of excellent quality. They have a fancy digital clock with a nice screen and which is AI-powered, so it can answer all common questions you might have about the hotel and its facilities – your personal concierge! The M Social Club (the bar area) is a lovely place to work, with some tables that have power points. The wifi is excellent, and the service at the bar and the restaurant is truly outstanding. Special shout out to Debby, who went ABOVE and BEYOND her normal duties to make my life more comfortable and pleasant at multiple occasions (at the bar and in the restaurant), and also to Shahidan, who provided an excellent lunch service. And not to forget Elisa, who was very helpful in giving directions and who kept the M Social Club area constantly tidy and neat. The drinks and food at the bar was each time outstanding and affordable, and the lunch at the restaurant was amazing. They have a set lunch and a set dinner that I strongly recommend. The pool is spacious, and while not deep, you can actually swim 25 metre lanes. The location of the hotel is ideal, not too far from George Town, but also not far from Ferrenghi Bay and its attractions, so your driving time to either will be reasonable. All in all, I loved the experience, and after three days I felt like family. I will gladly return!

Hotel is brand new, used to be the old Copthorne. Nice n new. They are still doing quite a fair bit of touch ups... Many workers ard pool area, stairs etc. Staff are all very pleasant. Housekeeping was OK. On the last night, I doubt if they vacuumed the room, as the bits of leaves which was left the night before was still there. Toiletries were not complete, no body lotion or shaver or hand soaps at the wash basin. So... Had to make do with the bath gels provided The shower area was long enough, but during and after showering, the water splashes out to the rest of bathroom. So pls ask for extra floor mats. .Towels were nice n fluffy. Room was great... Spacious. We took a 3 person room, but it can have 4 people comfortably. Room view was nice (sea view) n quiet. Hanging clothes area was sufficient. The safe could have been placed higher, we were struggling to see what we left inside... Had to go on all 4s. Oh... The fridge was not cold. Didn't bother calling maintenance, coz we were leaving the next day. Think the room can be improved like maybe garden chairs at the balcony, a drying area for swimsuits, extra floormat going to the balcony, maybe a small writing table for work. There is a table, n it was handy for the food we had, but not conducive as a work table.The metal cups were really cute, however, after 1 cup of coffee or tea, it's stained really badly.Overall was a great stay. Pool was very nice, staff were very pleasant. Attitude is 5 stars. Tq

Our family had a wonderful 2 days and 1 night stay here. The room was moderately sized, with a stylish and minimalist design. From the room’s balcony, we could enjoy a breathtaking, unobstructed sea view — absolutely stunning.
The breakfast offered a wide variety of options, including noodles, dim sum, salads, and more, which I believe can cater to every guest’s taste.
However, one downside is that the walkway leading to the beach has not been properly constructed, and there is a risk of outsiders entering the premises. Hopefully, this can be improved before the official opening.
Although the beach is not very large, the scenery is pleasant. Unfortunately, it is littered with quite a bit of trash. I hope the hotel can work with the relevant authorities to clean it up, so that visitors can enjoy a perfect experience.

Loved my stay at M Social Penang! The hotel is very family-friendly, with a great atmosphere and stylish design. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful — especially the waiter Tyson, who was exceptionally attentive and friendly. The room was comfortable, the buffet had a wide variety of delicious food, and overall the vibe was just amazing. I even extended my stay for two more days because of how well I was treated. Highly recommended for families and anyone looking for a pleasant stay in Penang!
