How to mess up a potentially great gym: Despite all the payment options available everywhere in society (cash, credit card, grab pay, boost, etc), make your gym only accessible via an app and make it as difficult as possible to use it. The app (from Go Net) requires passport data, country of birth (and only possible to select out of a very limited number of countries, mine wasn't on the list...), a local bank account connected to it.

I don't know which "bright light" / bureaucrat thought of this system, but if the goal is to make people go away you definitely reached your goal.
I managed to use the gym here once, only by the help of a fellow sporter who paid via that damn app on my behalf. It's a shame, i really like to use this gym (as it's close by my place and has everything i need), but i see myself forced to go elsewhere.

The gym itself is fine, albeit the equipment is very dated and it's difficult to read the dumbbell kg's. However, my issue is with the incredibly restrictive GoNet app that you have to use to book in (fortunately someone else booked on my behalf when I arrived and tried to offer cash to the receptionist). In order to enter this gym you need to book via GoNet which requires a lot of your personal details, home address, passport number (+scan of document). You also need a Malaysian bank account to top up your account - something I am unable to get. I have a Wise account & touch & go but neither were accepted payment methods. Very disappointed at how complex it is to go into a very run down, basic gym. Will try elsewhere.

Not helping at all. Ruin my mood today, as they need to register with the lame apps system, trying many times to register and keep fail. Dont put someone at the counter who not helping! Im being rude now coz i wont make any scene there. GoNet system suck!!!

Bro. No one told me you needed an app to make payments to use the facilities here. They don't accept cash as payment. Do inconvenient.
Also, the marked location is wrong.
