ブルネイからリンバンに日帰りしましたが、同行していたキリスト教徒のガイドがここに寄りたがり、豚肉の串焼きやソーセージを奢ってもらいました。当然、ムスリムの運転手は車で待機していました。
コーラを頼みましたが、ぬるいです。
衛生状態はあまり良くないですし、物を売ってくる人に声をかけられます。
非ムスリムがハラームを飲食する所だと理解できました。
（私は、仏教からキリスト教に改宗した日本人観光客でしたが、そんなに豚肉が食べたかったという思いを持つ人がいるという裏の事情を知りました）

Atmosphere is fine, could be very noisy on a busy night.

If you're a germaphobe or neat freak though.... You best avoid this place.

Food? It's decent, you have to also go to the stalls outside the main building to get yummy fried stuff.

Kuala lurah is a must visit place, however there is not much effort to bring this place into a really tourist attraction center but rather it is a place of joy ride after centain period of drive from Brunei or Limbang,

People HERE AND OFF CASUALLY relax their unrestricted lifestyle

The only thing that is going to vanish this place is the Kastam, KPDNHEP and Majlis Daerah Limbang ambushes the local business here. Because when they ambush this place, the usual customer especially foreigners from Brunei are afraid to enjoy their food and drinks here, the Malaysia government is not wise enough to even notice that this place needs more building for the local business to run accordingly to their rules and regulations konon. I mean, how can the local business selling the taxed beers and cigarretes here when they themselves couldn't even sell the non taxed if there is ambushes every month!!!! Otak mana otak You want their business to have license or whatsoever, you provide the affordable and reasonable building for them here to run their business!! And then you open counter for them to renew or make business license! Every month they surely will pay punya! That's how you make sure they obey the rules at the same time get them to pay the government tax and so on!!! Not by doing the ambush here and there kacau their cari makan!!! Kuala Lurah is not so much of a place to work and earn money because from kuala lurah here to pekan limbang takes 41 minutes driving if they have to work there!!! Please consider the 'kurang mampu' people live at that area laaaa, not all of them there have relatives or cars or motorcycles!!! Most of them are coming from another region to settle a family here. Because this place supposed to be a good start for them.
