Facility-wise are okay. However, the cloudy and slow water flow is a letdown. Otherwise it's a good place to relax and unwind.

The only place we camped was where there weren't any mosquitoes.

Serene river for swimming. Adequate amenities such as shower, sink, bbq pits, and space for camp. Fortunately, my 3x3m tent barely fits into one of the stations.

Parking is close to your camping area. Solar lighting built into the place.

Toilet is a bit further in. You might want to check the additional charges involved before booking the place. We were surprised by how each of us had to pay a fee for certain things.

The night is colder than my aircond at home. Be sure to bring a blanket and leave your gold trinkets at home. Respect the place, and in turn, it(they) will respect your company. Be in good faith & enjoy your stay.

A good place for picnic, They provided a wodden hut, with barbecue place, and a wash sink. Also they provided a tarp and rattan mats if need more spaces. The sarrounding is shade with trees and bamboos. The water itself is clear and cool (but during trainning season the water is quite murky and a bit dangerous to swim at) Though, it only waist deep. There also cloth change places and toilets provided.

First time reach here after a long journey from Kuching,is about 1hour and half i guess..but it was super fun plus the way to get there is quite adventurous but worth it for me.If you want to grab something to eat and drink,there are a small minimart named Juju Minimarket. Once we arrive there are nobody there so we called Pn Elisa.We paid the entrance ticket RM3 per person.This is because of the villagers initiative to promote their own local projects.So me and my friends are very enjoy the scenery of Pesang River.It was nice to be around the Kampung Pesang and meet friendly people.

Overall it was a good place, this place all the essential facilities to make camping easy. We were there from 3-4 June 2024.

One aspect of improvement is briefing or signage to all visitors about the importance of cleanliness especially cigarettes buds and food waste left behind.

My personal observations:
(1) Smokers would litter the area with cigarette buds.
(2) Junk food wraps also litter the area at times food waste can be found near the bbq pits or tanju area. Could be a source of pest (RATS) attraction and risk of leptospirosis (deman kencing tikus).

Solution by campsite JKKK:
(1) Please educate smokers not to litter their cigarette buds all around the campsite/river, also have a smoking area facilities with the appropriate cigarettes buds bin.
(2) Educate campers and picnickers on proper food waste disposal.

Overall, it's a good place to experience camping for beginners or with a toddler kid. A gem of a site by the cool river. Hope to see the recommendations put in place when we visit next time.

The first time we came here .. and before returning to Bintulu the next day our family was looking for an interesting place to calm down from the hustle and bustle of the city ... a very pleasant atmosphere even though it was a long journey to get to this place for the first time to here is quite far .. on the way here we can see the scenery of hills and fruit orchards and there is a small town in it before we get here .. the residents are very friendly and the receptionist is very friendly and best .. atmosphere which is fun when you hear the chirping of birds while watching the merry antics of children bathing in the river water which is very clear and clean .. hopefully this atmosphere will remain until when² .. if there is free time in another time hope to be here again ... 😊 😊😊😊
