Pros- Overall is ok. Hotel located in busy town shop. Easy to find food & restaurants. Cons- bathroom cleanliness is below the standard. A bit noisy coz is next from the cafe. Located far from main town.

1. Made a mess out of my booking. Went in and ended up waiting for at least 30-40 minutes for them to sort out my room.
2. Room was, for the lack of a better word, filthy… Toilet desperately needed a good chemical bath. The sheets had what looked like blood stains on them.
3. The only good thing they got going is the great location and decent sized room.

Amazing Stay at K Hotel!I had a fantastic stay at K Hotel! The price was very affordable, making it a great value for money. The location is perfect—easy access to food options, and it’s just a 15-minute drive to Kota Kinabalu city, which made exploring super convenient.The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist with a smile. Initially, I booked for 5 days and 5 nights, but I loved the stay so much that I extended for another night!While everything was great, I did notice that some appliances near the TV weren’t working, and the TV itself had a minor display issue with white lines. A little improvement in this area would make the experience even better.Overall, I’m really happy with my stay and would definitely come back again! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and budget-friendly place to stay.

This hotel is almost perfect for me for the price paid. Free public parking (you can park anywhere), got laundry shop just behind the hotel, many breakfast and lunch places, clean and smell good area and very accomodating staff. The bidet got leaking but when I reported it they fix it asap. I will book here again when I’m back in Penampang.

Stayed multiple times, large spacious family rooms, always very clean, housekeeping did a fabulous job. Rooms facing the main road can be somewhat noisy from the traffic. Needs 100 ringgit cash deposit upon check in.

Very convenient, with eateries and even a coin laundromat in the back. Good water pressure for hot showers. Only thing lacking is a mini-fridge in the rooms. Only 10-15mins to the airport, highly recommend for transits.

No room housekeeping service provided throughout the 3 nights stay despite the housekeeping switch was turned on. A little noisier in the night.

I booked a room here for some friends that came to visit during our vacation in Sabah. The rooms were well appointed, very clean, beds were quite comfortable. All items I checked were well maintained and relatively modern. There is an elevator from the ground floor up to the rooms. Staff was very helpful and generally spoke good English as well as mandarin and Malay. The price was very much in line with other hotels that were not as clean or as well located as this one.||The location is not attractive to the tourist that wants to stay oceanfront in Kota Kinabalu. It is however a very good location with many good places to eat within 100 meters of the front door since it is located in a small outdoor mall. A laundromat is behind the hotel. The area is well lit at night and very safe. Convenience and drug stores are also in close walking distance. Since you can either use Grab drivers or rent a car in the airport I believe this is actually a very good place for tourists since you can get anywhere relatively easily and the Malaysian people (particularly hotel staff) are very friendly and helpful.||To conclude, I strongly recommend that you look at staying in this hotel if you visit Kota Kinabalu for pleasure or business. It is well run, pleasant to stay in and has an abundance of shops very close by to experience local foods in.
