Disappointing and Horrible Homestay Experience

1. Strong Odors: The room was filled with damp, musty smells!
2. Poor Cleanliness: The room was covered in dust, and the toilet basin was rusty. Lack of maintenance and no regular cleaning, suspect the homestay hadn’t been occupied for some time.
3. Rude Staff: The attitude of the staff was very unhelpful and dismissive. Customer service is extremely low!
4. No Water Supply: The worst part of my stay was NO water supply. This has added to my frustration and the staff is not resolving this issue! I am forced to check out!
5. Poor Soundproofing: The soundproofing was inadequate, noisy and annoying.

Overall, this homestay is terrifying. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!

Hot water working, Lower bed, Dusty room, Aircond working. They dont answer your call, only solution is you have to walk in and check with receptionist. I booked with agoda, what displayed on there totally differs from what i get into check-in. I message them through mail, agoda chat upon late check-in, no response. When question about room difference, the female staff said the only have two kind, where the one come first will get into it. I have questioned, then why not display the actual image of room instead cheating customer on this. Though she kept repeating and comparing me with the other guest who get check into other room, were allocated as mine but no complain. So end of the story dont trust the image, service staff the truly dont answer your question.

Very terrible room conditions. Strongly not recommend. Very smelly room , everywhere in the room is dusty especially the tables , chair and the toilet rack. The extra TILAM and comforter is really bad condition.

The staff is very no manners .
No watersupply in the evening and the staff is showing very irresponsible attitude .

The workers here wasn’t friendly. We stay here for 2 night , and then when everyone wanna take shower there’s no water . Staff told us government close the water supply, they know it morning but didn’t inform to all the guest here . Until we ask they only tell us .

The place is quiet and calm. Wooden furnishing and furniture. Very well maintained rooms. But no ventilation to the rooms or toilet made us feel humid inside the room. Toilet floor would always be wet for the same reason. The lady at the front desk helped with our laundry at extra charge. That was kind of her.
But on day 1, for 2h straight there’s no water in the toilet and we faced a lot of trouble. So we asked them to change our room to another one. There also problem persisted. But we managed to get some water from shower head.

Also, on day 1, the parking was full. So we had to park our car elsewhere. They’ve parking space for only 4 cars but have more than 4 rooms to rent out.

Overall feeling was good. Recommend to those who like calm and homely environment. Away from city buzz

Book 3 rooms, which is 2 standard room and 1 special room. Standard room do not have window. Special room have but the wooden frame also cover the sunlight. Would not recommended other to book. 1. The room like ghost room, smelly, bulb also very dim. I request to change room. Then change to other room, also have smell but on aircorn a while still can be accepted, but my brother was shocked when open the wooden door, the door are not smooth, like old spoilt wooden door ,so scary (standard room). 2. No drinking water bottle provided, I took the hair dryer from front desk. When I use the hair dryer, the tv will shut down. After using I on back then ok.
3. The WiFi not strength, haiz....upper stair have to connect others choice username to connect WiFi , downstairs used the different username
4. No lift, have to walk to stair to the upstairs room, if elderly or child have to be careful when walk, even myself 2 times almost fall down when walk the stair
5. The location not easy to find. Once you turn the traffic light have to cut the other lane. The lane was very small also.
6. The old traditional homestay, using tho padlock to lock the room before leaving.
7. Towel also green colour
But the mattress all OK
8. Air corn have problem, I on 1 hour but still not cold, request to swap room. The front desk officer come and check, step on the bed, I said I don't want use this bed anymore
9. The next day woke up my sister use the bathroom, basins no water, toilet also no water to flush, only can showering. My sister ask the staff go and check, then they said kulai 2 days no water. Starting today, my gosh, luckily we check out today, they borrow us the bail bucket to keep water manually. My gosh....
10. The pillow have stains
Definetely not worth staying here with the price paid
