Yes, the price is cheap, so we didn’t expect five-star hotel service. But still, we paid to stay there, so at the very least, we deserve decent treatment. This hotel doesn’t use key cards, just regular keys. When we tried to open the door, we turned it left and right but couldn’t get it open. So, we called for help.

When the staff arrived, instead of helping politely, they came with a sour face and a harsh attitude. Even though we still said ‘thank you,’ the only response we got was a grumpy ‘hmm’ with an angry face, as if we did something wrong. That kind of service really hurts. Yes, it’s your job — but that doesn’t mean you should treat guests like that

Despite the location being in the middle city, the condition of the hotel needs a lot of improvement. We booked 3 rooms: 1 family room, 2 deluxe rooms.

Family room - The room was not clean, and the bed seems broken on the edge. No proper toiletries provided, only used & half soap bars available. On the corridor outside, I can see some rubbish only sweeped to the side during check in and it stays there until I check out.

Deluxe room - One of the room flush was broken & has to be transferred to another room.
Another room - no towel provided, have to ask from the receptionist.

I think, if you are looking for budget rooms, look for newer facilities. This one is an old hotel, but changed to a new owner/name. Even the floor in front of the entrance door was only covered with hard plywood, could be in the middle of repair I'm not sure.

My recent stay at Seroja Hotel Labuan was nothing short of disappointing. From the moment I arrived, I was met with impolite receptionists who lacked basic courtesy, especially when dealing with older guests.

The experience took a turn for the worse when the hotel lost electricity. Instead of efficiently addressing the issue, both the receptionist and the management failed to provide any viable solutions. Their excuse of being a budget hotel was not only inadequate but also unacceptable. It's their responsibility to ensure guest comfort regardless of the hotel's price range.

The lack of hospitality and professionalism displayed by the staff was utterly frustrating. It's high time the management took a serious look at their customer service standards and addressed the glaring gaps in their manners. Seroja Hotel Labuan needs a serious overhaul in their approach to guest satisfaction.

Title: Disappointed Stay at Hotel Seroja Labuan

I recently stayed at Hotel Seroja Labuan, and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. Despite booking in advance, I encountered issues with the reservation process and was ultimately denied a refund when I needed to cancel.

Upon arrival, the check-in process was slow and disorganized. The staff seemed overwhelmed and unprepared to handle the influx of guests. Despite providing all necessary documentation, my reservation could not be located initially, causing unnecessary stress and frustration.

Furthermore, due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to cancel my reservation. Despite adhering to the hotel's cancellation policy and providing ample notice, I was informed that refunds were not possible. This lack of flexibility and understanding from the management was disappointing and unexpected.

In addition to the issues with reservation management, the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel left much to be desired. The room I was assigned to was not up to par with the standards I expected. It was evident that the facilities were not properly maintained, and there were signs of wear and tear throughout the property.

Overall, my stay at Hotel Seroja Labuan was marred by logistical challenges, unmet expectations, and a lack of customer service. I would caution future guests to carefully consider their options and ensure clear communication with the hotel management before making a reservation.
