Hotel bajet RM65 untuk yg ada aircond katil 1 single 1 queen. Ada ruang kecik untuk solat dan tak ada tv. Toilet bersih, tengah bandar jdi bising skit mlm2, sgt dekat dgn jeti dan kedai. Sesuai untuk prsinggahan sementara untuk ke pulau hanya utk tidur.

Will stay here regularly whenever i come to Mersing.
The uncle charges soo low cost and at the same time here does provide clean and safe rooms. This is so convenient for those who just staying here for a night before going Tioman.

Staying overnight Mersing usually means you wait for next day’s ferry to a nearby island. So we did on our trip to Pulau Tioman in February 2014. We arrived late night and needed a place to stay overnight. During the bus ride from KL we met a local from Tioman and he does the trip every week, so we asked him where he stays and he told us about the Golden City Hotel. I have checked tripadvisor and the online booking sites during the bus ride, but found nothing really appealing, so we decided to give it a try. Rates where 35 RM for a double room, 50 with AC, only accepting cash on arrival. The price was half from the cheapest options on the online booking websites, so we expected nothing when we arrived. Check in was fast, you get towels and soap by the reception (1st floor, no elevator) and then you have to find your room. The room was simple but clean, cold shower with good pressure and fine working AC. You can hear some nice from the street, so bring earplugs if this bothers you. ||The place does the trick for an overnight stay, was central located and clean, what else you can expect for this price? The place can`t be booked online, so just call as we did or just show up.

Cheap, noisy, reasonably clean, centrally located; as good as, or possibly better than the alternatives. Up stairs to get to the hotel reception - no lift. Aircon did not work properly. I had a control that worked right, and then when I went out to eat they came into the room and changed it for another one, and even though I complained to reception, I never did get another one that worked properly. My recommendation - take an early bus to Mersing, so you can catch the ferry, and avoid staying overnight in Mersing.

We have been to this place many times. It is our stop over for a few days on the way to Tioman Island.||Do not expect a "the luxe" but a clean place, comfortable bed and hot shower for a decent price, a nice service, well centered, and easy access to the bus station and the ferry||There is not internet, but close by you have free WiFi at Ali Restaurant and one block away a cheap internet service/

가성비 내려요. 팬룸이 40링깃, 팬룸 트윈베드 45링깃, 에어컨방은 50링깃이었을거에요. 위치도 나쁘지 않고 가성비 줄줄 내려버려서 모든게 용인됩니다. 이정도면 티오만 가기 전 멀싱에서 머물러야 할 때 괜찮을거 같아요. 대단히 좋은 방은 아니에요! 하지만 가격대비 머물다가기 괜찮다고 느꼈습니다.

Very well located, clean, simple : just perfect for one night before taking a bus or a ferry to Tioman !|No wifi but many restaurants and laundry (try the Laundry Bar with fast, free & open wifi) have wifi nearby.|

Hôtel bien situé, non loin du KFC où attendent pour leurs bus tous les backpackers, accueil simple, le prix pour une double avec climatisation est de 60RM mais pas de Wifi, les serviettes fournies sont propres mais ont de longues années derrière elles.||La chambre était au 2ème étage sans ascenseur, très propre mais tellement vieillotte et manque légèrement d'entretien.||La climatisation faisait beaucoup de bruit mais marchait correctement.||Hôtel très correct pour petit budget.
