This place is an absolute heaven sent. Bentong being famed for their ginger but it wasn’t easy to get a ginger 🫚 tea drink despite so many ginger tea products being sold at shops.

The cafe was large and airy, many types of seating available with friendly staff and wonderful store owner spending time to explain the science behind ginger with us despite him being busy serving us and other customers.

The complimentary detox drink was absolutely refreshing! Makes you wanna have more!

The range of ginger laced beverages and snacks are amazing 🤩!

Got to come and try this place if you are in Bentong!

Cute traditional cafe with a twist of modern menus. I loved that the cafe confirmed with us that the cafe is a “no pork no lard” cafe, which is Muslim-friendly. The owner first welcomed us with a cup of cold pressed ginger juice which I bought 2 home. The ginger chaux and Vietnamese coffee with ginger cream is a must try! I like the fact that it’s also reasonably priced and car park is a breeze.

Just discovered Ginger Heritage Cafe—wow! The owner’s creativity shines through in every detail: delicious food, a warm, inviting vibe, and spotless cleanliness. The unique outdoor setup really stands out.

Stopped by Ginger Heritage in Bentong and left thoroughly impressed. The British India Curry Chicken Pie (M01) arrived piping hot with buttery-flaky pastry and a deeply aromatic Southern-Indian curry filling—comforting yet refined. The Three Ginger Rice (M02) was a show-stopper: turmeric-hued rice, galangal rendang chicken and tangy ginger acar that balanced richness with zing.

Desserts kept the ginger theme playful. The Thai-style Sangkaya Fak Thong (001) pumpkin custard came draped in a silky ginger sauce—sweet, earthy and just spicy enough. The Ginger Choux (002) was light, airy and filled with a pleasantly warming cream. Washed everything down with their signature Ginger Tonic (D01)—a fizzy pick-me-up that cut through the meal perfectly.

Portions are generous, prices fair, and the staff greet you like old friends. If you’re exploring Bentong and want a creative twist on local flavours (with plenty of ginger love), this spot is a must-try!

Ordered Ginger Choux, Sangkaya Fak Thong, Ginger Creme Brulee, Mandarin Ginger Chiffon and Mangolova all are nice! Highly recommended 😍 BTW owner is very enthusiastic about sharing the benefits of ginger too 🫚

🍮 Tried their creme brulee, was OK, mild sugar ginger crust. Their ginger detox drink was amazing! Ginger candy taste good and smooth, (RM 28 for 3/ RM20 for 2) in a cute tin container is such a great gift to others, will be nice if they also sell it without the box for self consumption.

🧼 They do sell their own ginger products like scrubs, soap, spray, cream etc

😌 Very comfortable place to rest and chill, there's board games available too.

🐟 There's a pond at the back.

🚽 Toilets are clean.

🧑‍🍳 The service is really good, attentive and friendly.

👍 Highly recommended to ginger lovers here. Will come back to try other stuff.

The 3 Ginger Rice and the Ginger Choux were amazing! Everything here is very well put together and is a definite MUST TRY in Bentong even if you are not a fan of ginger. The service was excellent and the vibe is great. 10/10
