I spent the weekend of my 30th birthday at Dusuntara with a group of friends and we had a truly memorable time. It's very easy to get there from KL on the train and Hawa and Kamal picked us up for the scenic drive in the 4x4s back to their magnificent lodge. The lodge really is a labour of love, having been built by the couple and consequently, it felt like staying with family - we were made so welcome. We really looked forward to Hawa's cooking each meal time - the food was wonderful! During the day we had a relaxing time by the pool and in the evening made full use of the karaoke machine! Kamal and Hawa were so thoughtful and really made sure I had a special weekend - although alcohol isn't available at the lodge, we were able to bring our own and Kamal made sure we had plenty of ice to keep our beers chilled! They also were able to organise a surprise birthday cake at the request of my friend - really going above and beyond! I thoroughly recommend Dusuntara - if you want a break from the city, a place where you can be looked after and feel at home then this is the place for you! Thank you Kamal and Hawa!

I recently stayed at Dusun and I must say, it was a delightful experience. From the moment I checked in, the staff were warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The room was spacious, clean and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, including a comfortable bed and a delightful kitchen and fridge.

Dusun's location was perfect for me, as it's nested in the jungle. The breakfast I chose was delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from.

Overall, I highly recommend The Dusun for anyone wanting: solitude, peace and quiet, silence retreats, being in nature. The friendly staff, comfortable rooms, and awesome secluded location made my stay a memorable one. I look forward to returning soon!

12 of us spent one night at Dusuntara. We drove down to Econsave, Batang Kali where Kamal was waiting for us. Right from coordinating the stay, the drive, the beauty of the resort, cleanliness and stay, Kamal's touch is there in everything. Him and his wife took wonderful care of us. The place is right in the middle of a forest with a swimming pool and two lovely little chalets for stay. We were welcomed with delicious tea and snacks. The tea was the best we've ever had. It felt like the whole place belonged to us. The rooms were spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The pool is the highlight and we spent the whole time in and around the pool. The price is incredibly worth spending considering the place, the amenities, food and the effort Kamal had to take. Recommended for a group of 10-12 for the perfect getaway.

Stayed here for a weekend getaway with some friends, and we could not be happier!||||Hawa and Kamal were the best hosts and were so sweet to us. The place is beautiful, the environment peaceful, the rooms comfortable, the pool inviting, and the cherry on top of the cake - All the sheets were freshly laundered before we arrived, we could smell the fresh scent as we snuggled into bed!||||Amazing, and highly recommended!

We had an enjoyable and wonderful retreat in this resort of the very warmth hospitality of Mr Kamal and Mrs Hawa.||||The journey to the resort on 4 x 4 vehicles of the resort from nearby meeting point makes the trip more exciting.||||Our group were happy to have clean and cosy bedrooms, bathrooms during our stay. We enjoyed our BBQ session in the well equipped kitchen of the resort.||||All the best to Mr Kamal and Mrs Hawa🙏🏻🙏🏻

We were there for our 2D 1N company teambuilding. We had the whole place to ourselves. Didn't expect to be picked up by the resort's 4x4, and by the owners themselves! It was indeed an honour. Dinner was scrumptious!! It was prepared and cooked personally by owner (Mr Kamal and Hawa). If you plan to have a short family trip, trip with a group of friends or company event, this is one of the place to go. Truly recommend it.

We were there for 2 nights and words are not the thing to describe the calmness and relaxation I got myself during my stay. Hawa is a brilliant cook, Lamb Shank that she cooked for the group of us is the tastier compare to those city restaurant. Believe me when I said that you'll face Monday Blue after you stay in Dusuntara.
