Enjoyed our stay here, bunks were cozy and felt private even in a 16 bed room. The room stayed cool with the AC on and was a great location. Yeah the bathroom is small but it didn’t matter much since ideally I was not spending much time in them! Hosts were really kind and there are many cute kitties in the alleyway behind the hostel that are ready to be pet! Would stay here again!

Nice hostel conveniently located next to the old town of Ipoh. Literally, turn a corner and you're there. I stayed for a couple of nights and everything was great. Everyone at the hostel was very friendly and helpful. They even made a PDF with recommendations of things to do and ear in IPoh. The beds were spacious enough to sleep comfortably. The room had AC. Locker storage was big enough to store my luggage. I definitely recommend staying here. Also a really cool concept is that guests can measure their height and sign their name on the wall (by the cafe counter) instead of the usual photo on the wall. Great little coffee place! Had a lovely Sunday morning flat white - comes with 2 shots, as all good flat whites should.

Breakfast menu looked good too, but I didn’t get a chance to try anything this time around.

It's good but not great, definitely not worth this price
The communal space is nice. And the staff is very friendly and helpful
The locker is big and the dorm room is nice, the beds are great, big and feel very new, but no proper blanket while you do get a throw pillow for some reason. And no towel and no hook in your own cubicle to hang anything. They have communal drying racks but who likes to put their towel next to that of a stranger.
The bathroom is awful on the dorm floor, 2 toilets but one is so small you can't properly use it. The shower holder was broken and you can choose between a little bit of warm water or a normal amount of cold water to shower with. Couldn't imagine a full 18 bed dorms with that as a bahroom. They don't want you to use slippers but the floor isn't clean.
They have refillable water but it's one of those decanting bottles, they have a kitchen with a water filter, so why does it need to sit there in a container that's probably never cleaned?

J'ai passé un excellent séjour dans cet hostel ! La patronne est adorable, à l'écoute et très prévenante. N'hésitez pas à lui demander des recommandations pour visiter les environs ou trouver les bonnes adresses où manger.

It's a horrible place! I booked a room according to the pictures. Then I figured out it's wasn't the right room a asked the room of the picture and they give to me. But it's was the much cheaper room. They didn't want to rembourseme me even if I just had paid cash. Service was horrible. There should have been a cafe but there wasn't. And the curtain didn't close All the way. There was all night light in the room because they have a window to a room where you couldn't turn of the lights. The toilet a right next to the shower with just a little plastic wall.
Wouldn't recommend it at all. Go somewhere else!!!

Nice hostel in Ipoh. I only spent one night here. Dorm is big and the beds are very comfy. It's a good central location, close to the train station though a bit far from the bus terminal.
