This is definitely the place to stay in Mulu! Dina and Robert are such good Hosts and are happy to help you, to make your stay unforgettable. They are also happy to share some stories about life in Mulu. The rooms are basic, but with everything you need. You don't need more in the jungle! I can't say anything bad about the place. On the last day, Dina showed us a traditional dance and we could wear some traditional clothes for photos. It's really a cool place!

Mi sono sentita a casa lontano da casa.
Posizione comodissima sia per raggiungere aeroporto che il parco nazionale. Dina è una donna magnifica, sempre con il sorriso e alla cura dei suoi ospiti. Prepara cibo eccezionale. Inoltre per allietare la serata, dopo cena inizia il karaoke.
Dina è una bravissima cantante!

Dina et Robert sont doté d'une gentillesse remarquable, ils nous on accueilli de la meilleure façon ! Les chambres, sanitaires sont très propre, des repas très bon avec de quantités généreuse etc..
Vous pouvez allez séjourner chez eux les yeux fermés !

Dina and the team are lovely hosts. This is a short walk from the airport and the national park (bring a headlight if you’re returning after dark).
The beds are really comfortable and clean.

We have had a lovely stay at D'cave home stay. Dina and Robert were really friendly, made us feel welcomed into their home and we're interesting to talk to about the park wildlife and conservation. D'cave is just a short walk from the airport but don't worry you won't be disturbed by the noise as only one or two planes land a day. It's also less than a 10 minute walk to the Mulu national park entrance.
Roberts breakfast was very nice and there is tea and coffee on the go. We went for a private bathroom but having seen the shared bathroom we would have been very happy with that option as well.

We had a great stay with Dina and Robert at D'Cave Homestay. From arrival to departure, they made us feel welcome and comfortable.

Breakfast is included and varied: pancakes, fried noodles, fried rice, and even local pandan donuts one morning. Coffee, tea, and boiled drinking water are always available. Dina also cooks a generous homemade dinner (RM25) if requested in advance.

Robert, a former guide, is very knowledgeable about the area and happy to share tips or help with organizing treks and transport.

The location is convenient—around 10 minutes on foot to both the park entrance and the airport. Pickup can be arranged for RM5 per person.

I stayed at Dcave Homestay for a week as a solo traveler in their dorm. The bed was so comfy and the room and toilets were clean. You can leave your bags for free here when you go on the over night tours. The couple who runs the guest house is very kind and I loved the kittens, hopefully the kittens are still around! They cook nicer dinners and provide packable lunches for when you go to the park. Support local people and give your money to guest homes in MULU! My favorite memory was attending their neighbors pork roast- everyone is very kinda and I appreciated being there!

Not just Mulu is amazing, this homestay is the best! The hosts are absolutely gorgeous & treat you like family! Rooms are very clean and it’s just a quick walk to the park! Loved our time here! Only minus is the outside bathroom and cold showers, but if you hike the whole day, the cold showers are amazing!
