Unbelievable art spice dishes by Slilankan chef. Astonishing cariflower masala or veg curry with reasonable price. If you come to Kota kinabal city, I recommend here first of all.

Food: was delicious. Curry was amazing. Good amount of spices and heat. Mutton lamprais was finger licking good. Will come back just for that. However the crab was a letdown. Crab was overcooked i think, the meat was dehydrated. Breaking the claw open i was met with a minimal amount of meat (i dont understand where it went lol). Free flow papadom was a plus

Atmosphere: came for lunch. Overall atmosphere was usual lunch affair.

The food is delicious and the portion are huge. We ordered jaffna curry crab, masala potato and chicken lamprais. The crab portion is so big that we kept confirming with the waitress whether she served us the right portion with good service from waitresses.

If you are looking for similar indian food with lesser punchy spice flavour, can visit this place. As i expected the spice flavour is more tone down compared to indian food. 3 of us ordered 2 rice and add on side dishes and dessert, just the right enough portion for us (2 guys n 1 girl).

As vegan, I and my family have a wonderful dining experience. My hubby said, “sedap sampai menjilat jari 🤣’ The Lampais vegetarian is actually vegan and it’s clean. the plain appam and gula Melaka appam also taste nice. Please continue with the quality of food that you serve, thank you!

First Sri Lanka restaurant in KK (serve no pork, serve alcohol) at Sutera Avenue (1st Floor). Serving authentic Sri Lankan cuisines, packed with flavour and affordable prices. Recommended to try! I would recommend trying the Lamprais 😍👍🏼

The atmosphere is kinda noisy a bit if you intend to have a quiet dinner/lunch.. they have seating outside the restaurant.

As my Regular review, the location is bit hard to find, need to take a escalator to first floor. Average outlet design, but they managed to make great ambience. Cute servuce staff with smily greetings, just a straightforward menu with accurate description of each dishes. Prices are reasonable, 1 puttu, 1 appam with brown sugar, Sri Lankan omlette and a chicken briyani, cost around rm45. Nice flavour and great taste, especially the chicken curry with the puttu is awesome match. Overall with the ambience and the taste of food i felt i had food in casual restaurant in sri lankan island(obviously except those cute service staffs😜), highly recommended for those who wanna try authentic sri lankan cuisine.
