Finding the entrance was a bit of an adventure, but the hidden door added to the unique experience. The atmosphere was enchanting, and the staff was knowledgeable and helpful. The complimentary water was a thoughtful gesture. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend this place.

The decor was gorgeous, with consistent use of dark green, gold and dark wood throughout. The menu itself is arranged in different categories – from light to funky, and the level of alcohol increases with the numbers.

Really light and sweet because of the guava, with a strong capsicum scent on the nose. Couldn’t really taste the melon but there was that smoothness you’d associate with it⁣

The waitress warned us that this drink would be very out there and she was right! This was very alcohol forward with a strong curry leaf scent and coconut/pandan after taste. It did leave a relatively smooth mouth feel too. Smart of them to pair the drink with a salted egg cracker as curry leaves are often used in salted egg items, so this accentuates the curry leaf flavours ⁣

The drinks were very smooth and drinkable for someone who does not usually drink. I especially enjoyed the mango drink which was ice shaken. Tiramisu had an ice cream texture which was interesting. The bar has a hidden entrance which is hinted in the name. Friendly staff who took time to explain the menu. Cozy ambience and overall a good experience!

Visited Cabinet 8, and I must say we really enjoyed our time at this speakeasy! Really enjoyed the cocktails and the thought process that went into making the cocktails that were available in variety (16 cocktails!) - I enjoyed the music and chill vibes. The staff were friendly and patient and made great recommendations based on our preference. I highly recommend getting the Cocoa cocktail!

We were recommended the “neighbor club” by a friendly local. To our surprise, neighbor club which is a cafe by day and “bar” by night houses this speakeasy! It was such a delightful experience when we found the entrance (completely by chance!).

I loved the concept and it was tastefully decorated. The drinks are obviously priced higher than the “neighbor club” and rightfully so. I’m a huge gin person so I opted for the ‘whisperer’ cocktail. It was well balanced and went down smoothly.

My friends got the ‘geisha’ and ‘wind colada’. They enjoyed their drinks but in my opinion the ‘whisperer’ was a clear standout. It’s definitely more alcohol forward, so if that ain’t your thing and you want something that tastes a little more like mango sjora… you can go for the ‘wind colada’.

Had a visit to Cabinet last week. It’s a hidden speakeasy! So you gotta find your way in 🙂

I love the extensive menu they have! It’s well curated and I enjoyed my drinks very much!

They have small tables and also large group table so you can enjoy your company.

Price are reasonable and I would definitely recommend Cabinet if you’re looking to spend a night out for drinks!

A true speakeasy in its sense, this little quaint vintage vibed bar is everything you can ask for if you’re looking to step into the old world. They’ve curated this place so well, it feels like you’ve stepped into a different world.

Their cocktails are artisanal and very well curated, their must must try is the “Ginger”. It’s one of the best drinks you can ever taste. You can tell they put in a lot of efforts into curating these cocktails.

Definitely a must visit when in JB.

2nd time here after almost a year. Drinks and service are still as good. The bartender came over to help us select a suitable cocktail explaining the ingredients and how it would taste like. Hunting for the location of the bar is part of the fun itself. A hint is look for a cafe with strong coffee smell, opposite the Chow Q cafe row.
