Overall, nice atmosphere for a small town. Food quality wise so so… a basic carbonara is lousy…

Pastry selection would be slightly better than pasta.

Starting off with the most important part - the food. The prices are kinda on the expensive side, for example a big breakfast set costs as much as a smoothie, which is simply ridiculous. Furthermore, the savoury side of dishes, such as the breakfast menu, weren’t all that great: The bread wasn’t that crispy, the ham and sausages weren’t special, the sauce was put in excess, it all just tastes normal, not what you’d expect for the great prices.

Nonetheless, I’ve got to say that the sweeter side of things (the desserts) are absolutely spectacular. The macarons were definitely expensive but they’re worth the price considering they were the most unique ones you could find in Sungai Petani. The cakes tasted exceptional for the area and the pastries were crunchy and crispy and delightful! The croffles also carry a phenomenal crunch.

The main courses such as the spaghetti dishes and the Japanese dons are fine as well.

I find the design and furnishings of the cafe really appealing with a modernistic approach, especially the black French doors. The atmosphere is quite nice with charming furniture and decor.

As for the service, our food was served rather quickly and the waiters are polite as well.

Overall, it’s a great experience, especially the desserts!

High recommend this cafe for breakfast. Croissant are the best, crispy at outside, puffy inside with butter taste. Usually come with set, coffee latte taste are very smooth and nice. The price is very cheap and good, is difficult found in Penang. I’m from Penang, will come back next time.

The taste of the food is quite okay, seems healthy too. The portion is slightly small for me even though it serves with french fries and salad 😂
Ordered a coffee and a hojicha latte, coffee is good but the hojicha latte still needs some improvement.
The toilet is clean and doesn't smell.
