I love every food in this place. i tried the ipoh shredded chicken hor fun special and it was honestly amazing. the soup had such a rich flavor, you could really taste and smell the shrimp aroma in it. it was perfectly balanced, not too salty, not too bland. the noodles were smooth and soft and everything just blended so well together.

i also tried the mee kari ayam and it was really good too. the portion was big, definitely worth the price, and they even gave a whole chicken drumstick which was huge. the curry was flavorful, thick, and satisfying.
the drinks were okay overall. the prices for most of them were reasonable, not too expensive, except for the smoothies which were a bit on the higher side.

what really surprised me was the egg tart. it was so smooth and creamy, it literally melted in my mouth. everything about it was just perfect, not dry, not overly sweet, and not the kind that makes you feel sick after a few bites. i think it’s one of the best egg tarts i’ve tried so far. you seriously have to try it yourself. the only thing that made me a little sad was the price, it’s slightly more expensive than or*****l k*p*.

the only issue i had was the parking. the shop is located right next to a busy street and traffic lights, so finding a spot can be quite hard especially during peak hours.

Food is rather disappointing.

Nasi lemak doesn’t use fragrant rice and came without anchovies. The peanuts are also not properly fried. It’s basically white rice with toppings. The whole dish just doesn’t feel put together.

The curry fish ball is extremely oily. To serve the bowl with an oil layer this thick can only shows how little the kitchen cares about the food quality and presentation.

Lastly, even the iced Milo is messed up. It says on the menu that it’s one of their specials, with the word “kaw” in its name. But the colour tells everything. You barely taste any Milo but sugar and milk.

It’s really such a shame. Nice cozy environment (albeit slightly rude Chinese cashier), but food is absolutely terrible.

Not worth your time and tummy. Please think twice before eating here.

It was a good experience overall, but alas their nasi lemak seems to be missing the 'lemak'ness. I ordered it as it was one of the recommended menu but was slightly disappointed. However, ayam kari was delicious and they used the drumstick part which was generous.

Their signature kopi was perfectly balanced and lived up to the expectations. Service was excellent.

Just some minor constructive feedback for the nasi lemak and other than that, the place was fine.

Shredded chicken hor fun with chicken dumplings is tasty, and the kopi C was good too. Nice ambience inside with soft music. Not crowded on a Sunday noon. They bring the menu to your table, you write down your order on a piece of paper, and then pay at the counter before your food arrives. Service was prompt and friendly.

Not the easiest place to reach via car as I don’t see any parking lots outside - this place is located in a shop lot by the roadside.

Super great atmosphere I love the decoration the vibe of the restaurant it’s kind of giving Penang vibes. And the location of the restaurant was great because it’s close to all Kuching historic building that you can visit. and then the menu selection was not quite big. I tried I tried the curry noodles. personally, I don’t really like it for me. It was too basic. I thought the curry noodles it has fried tofu. They soak with the curry ,bean sprouts,Long beans and top with sambal. He was kinda too basic for me for the price of rm12.90. Secret recipe curry noodle is much better. In the drink ordered the Milo was phenomenal. Last time I drink this type of milo was in Kuala Lumpur and bring backs memories. The Portuguese egg tart what’s kinda mid. I’ve taste better before. And personally the thought was overpriced. You can actually found at a local bakery for two ringgit. But this restaurant offer for 4.3 ringgit per egg tart that I mean like that bad deals. But finally. I definitely come back to try that one dish called Ipoh chicken hor fun.

The best Shredded Chicken Hor Fun in Kuching so far, broth with thick prawn taste, generous portion, recommend the one with dumplings.
Enjoyed the vibe in old town, definitely will come again

I have ordered Ipoh chicken shredded hor fun with Wonton and Ted Lin's Traditional Kopi Cold. Hor fun cost RM12.90 and Traditional Kopi RM4.60. Total RM19.25 included 10% Service Charge RM1.75. Food and drink here overall taste good. Will come back and try other foods .

Please try the Ipoh Hor Fun Mee - special, its is sooo good, the broth is amazinggg, i would say one of the best i’ve tasted in my life…… the portugese egg tart is to die for, so make sure u try it….. the Ted Lin Coffee was so so for me, but because the noodle was soo good, i dont mind anyway…..i came on a weekday, so it was not pack with patrons. Overall ambiance was amazing for me ☺️☺️☺️
