Saw people recommending this place on XHS, but tbh it was very mediocre.

Tomyum pasta - Does not taste like tomyum at all, tasted more like laksa? Pasta was very overcooked as well (pasta was soggy)

Big breakfast - Tasted normal. Ham was paper thin

Pizza - The only one that tasted nice. Pizza’s crust is on the thin side. But the aloha chicken one tasted nice.

Drinks - Ok only. Nothing special

Dessert - Looks nice on the outside (good presentation), but taste wise…not much yam taste. Taste of sponge cake only

Overall, not a very nice place for food but the ambience was good.

The environment here is very good. Food I will say good enough to come back. I do come back for the tiramisu but for those who do not like sour, it will not be for you as the whipped cream is zesty.

It’s rare to find a place in a small town that truly understands the art of cooking an exceptional plate of spaghetti, but Jenna Rose delivers just that – and more.

On my most recent visit, I indulged in their Braised Pulled Beef Aglio Olio and Braised Pulled Beef Creamy Tomyam Spaghetti – two dishes that left an indelible mark on my palate. The aglio olio was a masterclass in balance, with tender, flavourful beef strands embracing al dente pasta, perfectly coated in a garlicky olive oil infusion. The creamy tomyam spaghetti, on the other hand, was a revelation – a velvety, rich sauce infused with the tang and spice of authentic tomyam, harmonising beautifully with the slow-braised beef. It’s the kind of dish that lingers in memory long after the last bite.

The Sea Salt Cheesy Earl Grey Tea was equally impressive. The interplay of creamy, salted cheese foam and fragrant earl grey tea made for an intriguing yet immensely satisfying drink – a brilliant contrast to the savoury dishes.

Beyond the food, what makes Jenna Rose truly special is its atmosphere. The space is thoughtfully designed, with seasonal décor that never fails to impress. Every visit feels like stepping into a fresh, welcoming embrace, with an ever-evolving aesthetic that keeps things interesting. The staff, including their lovely interns, are warm, attentive, and passionate about what they do. The manager leads the team with the kind of enthusiasm that is both inspiring and infectious, ensuring every guest feels at home.

Jenna Rose has become a staple in my itinerary whenever I return to Muar. Whether it’s for a comforting plate of pasta, an aromatic cup of coffee, or simply to soak in the inviting ambience, this café remains an absolute delight. If you ever find yourself in Muar, do yourself a favour and visit – it’s a culinary experience worth savouring.

Food is really bad here
Cake is slightly better but yet very average
It’s over priced. A hot honey lemon is in the size of a small cup of coffee. Earl Grey tea is better for money.
Not up to any standard and quality
Croissant shapes like a croissant but the texture is the same as bread or roti
The honey toast is dried and expensive
Better to make at home
Purely fancy stuff for poser
Fancy place younger people to gather
Not a place for aunties and uncles
Great atmosphere
Comfortable air cond
Slightly cramped and crowded when busy
