Staff was extremely under trained. Don’t know the menu at all. Instead of checking in and get back to us ASAP, she chose to just kept silly laughing saying it’s her first day…

Waited for 50mins at a completely EMPTY bar for fish& chips, and edamame to be cooked? And the fish and chips… Haiz so disgusting.

Staff once again showed off her incompetence by not serving us with utensils. Went in to tell her about it as she was elsewhere, completely unaware she had to bring me tools to eat with. I watched from outside as I saw her talking to the other staffs, took another 5mins to bring me a SPOON and fork to eat my fish and chips… Had to struggle to ask for another staff to bring me a Knife after 10mins.

After 1h steak came… steak was pretty good and the potato wedges was good too. But only when we got the bill, we realised that the rib eye we asked for was actually A9 steak, which was double the price. No wonder nice HAHAHAH good tactic to earn more money 😆

We originally did want the A9 steak but the staff came to us saying that it wasn’t available or something. When we confirmed that it wasn’t available again with her, she said “yes something like that” And when we confirmed an order of rib eye, we were only informed it was A9 steak when we paid……

The only good item on the table was ruined at last too. Avoid this restaurant/bar at all cost. 😭😭😭

If you're looking for place to chill with nice food, here is recommended. No smoking too for indoors which is I like the most.

Maybe can improve more on the waiting time for food to be served.

Well it looks nice from outside and inside, with large Christmas tree and a long bar with beer selection… but their drink and food is more than disappointing… we ordered tap beer - 1605 and Heineken, but they were not how I tasted from the other bar. The food… *sigh* we were looking for dinner and the owner (or a man looking like owner) said they are famous for food especially pizza. Well that wasn’t the case, that was worst pizza I had, the crust was thin but not crunch nor soft, too much pepper and sauce. Also we ordered mushroom burger as well, which had lots and lots of black pepper in the mushroom. But the milk bun and the chips were good. Hard to fail deep fried potato chips… well done.
The service was the worst… we ordered Salmon, the server had to come back to say it’s not available. Then we changed it to chicken, and he returned back to say it’s actually only steak that is available in the section. Then we waited for 10min to have our first drink, then 40min for the burger. I saw a plate with my mushrooms ( not the whole burger but the mushroom in the burger) was delivered from the next shop to the kitchen.. and it took at least 10min for my burger to come out, which now you can suspect… the mushroom was cold. Then, pizza came out after 20 min…. When we finished the burger and chips. Pizza didn’t come with cutlery, which never came although we asked. One thing that came fast to our table was the bill….. it wasn’t expensive but not cheap either.
and this was Monday 6pm, not busy at all. Hopeless service I think, not to mention staff was not friendly but way too casual in their attitude.

We spent a lovely lunchtime today at this bar. Very impressive decor and an extensive array of beers, wines and spirits. I had a few glasses of Guinness, and my wife had an Aperol Spritz. We also had lunch here. I would recommend this bar and very much enjoyed the Christmas decorations. We really enjoyed the interactions with the owner (she deserves every success) and will return during our current and future visits to Kuching. Thank you.

EVITAR ESTE LUGAR.

Experiencia pésima de principio a fin. Pedimos la cerveza en lata y nos la sirvieron en botella, que era más cara, ignorando lo que habíamos solicitado (la camarera no se enteró). Al reclamar, el personal (excepto el encargado) se puso a la defensiva, con muy malas maneras, y nos culpó a nosotros, diciendo que como ya habíamos dado un sorbo no podían cambiarla ni devolver el dinero.

Las camareras tuvieron un trato desagradable y nada profesional; el único trato medianamente correcto fue el del encargado, pero no ofreció solución ni nos devolvió el dinero lo que sería lógico y un trato favorable de cara al cliente.

Un sitio que juega a la confusión para cobrar más y no asumir su responsabilidad, sin duda, para nada recomendable.

Very nice proper pub in town. A bit high end. We went a bit early in the afternoon so I think the staff was not expecting customers, at times she was nowhere to be seen when we wanted to order drinks again. Beer price a bit on the high side, I feel but nonetheless we had a few good ones on a very hot day. Didn't try the food so can't comment. Was told they have bands playing on Fri and Sat. There is also an upper level seating.
