Glasshopper has such a nice vibe, very calm and classy at the same time. The place feels bright and modern, with just the right amount of warmth that makes you want to sit and chill a bit longer. Service memang tip top, the crew were so polite and helpful. They even helped us change tables and offered to take our photo, which was really sweet and thoughtful.

Food pun tak mengecewakan. The salmon aglio olio was perfectly cooked, flavourful and satisfying. The salmon bread for breakfast (tak ingat nama on menu) was also really good, simple but nicely done. My friend tried the tomyam pasta and said it was super sedap. Coffee was top notch, rich and smooth. The matcha was surprisingly good not overly sweet, nicely balanced with a creamy matcha taste. (Disclaimer: I’m a matcha and coffee lover.)

Overall, such a pleasant experience, definitely a place I’d come back to.

I came here for a breakfast on weekdays and it was such a refreshing experience.

Atmosphere: 5/5
The vibe here is amazing, surrounded by lush greenery that instantly puts you at ease. You can choose to dine indoors in a two-storey glasshouse or outdoors either under the trees or a shaded area. Outdoor seating is thoughtfully equipped with fans.

Service: 5/5
Ordering is done at the counter, and then you find your seat. The staff will bring your food to the table. They accept cash and QR payments only. The waiting time was short, likely because it wasn’t too crowded, perfect for a peaceful morning.

Price: 4/5
Slightly on the pricey side, but considering the generous portions and the overall experience, I’d say it’s worth it. I’ve noticed a lot of improvements compared to when they first opened, which is great to see.

Overall:
Highly recommended if you're looking for a calm, relaxing spot to enjoy your meal under the shade of beautiful trees. A lovely escape from the usual hustle.

The pancakes were perfectly made and absolutely delightful, light and full of flavour. However, the kaya toast had a lovely flavour, though the bread was slightly overbaked and a touch too dry. The half-boiled eggs, unfortunately, were cooked a little too long and lost that soft, silky texture I was hoping for. Still, The GlassHopper Café has a pleasant charm and remains a cosy spot for a casual breakfast.

The atmosphere is cozy and nicely designed. I'd give it a 4 stars for ambiance. It's a great spot to chill or catch up with friends. The food, however, is just average. Nothing particularly stood out, but it's decent if you're not expecting anything fancy. Worth a visit for the vibe, maybe just grab a drink or light snack.

After three visits, I’m finally ready to share a proper review of this charming café tucked in what feels like a glasshouse in the middle of a lush garden. The ambience is easily one of my favourites, serene, airy, and thoughtfully designed with nature in mind. There are outdoor seating options for those who love fresh air, and a first-floor dining area that feels like you’re on a tree canopy.

COFFEE
The flat white and café latte have been consistently good, smooth, well-balanced, and aromatic.

FOOD
Visit 1 (Solo after brisk walk):I tried the avocado toast. It was done just right, crisp, fresh, and flavourful.
Visit 2 (Post 4.5km walk):I ordered the Turkish egg with sourdough, which resembled shakshuka. The portion was shockingly generous and the taste was perfectly balanced made me cleaned the plate! 😋
Visit 3 (With friends):We had coffees, fries, and onion rings. While the fries were decent, the onion rings could have been more generous in portion compared to the café’s other offerings.

SERVICE
The staff are attentive and friendly. Each time visited, they’ve promptly offered menus and guided us through the ordering process, which makes the experience smooth and welcoming.

PRICING
Slightly on the higher side, but the ambience and quality mostly justify it.

PASTRIES
Though I haven’t tried them yet, the selection looks tempting. I’ve already scoped out the bestsellers with help from the staf, definitely on my list for the next visit.

VERDICT
A great place to unwind, especially after a walk. Consistent quality, beautiful setting, and thoughtful service make this café worth coming back to. Looking forward to my next chill session here.

Great menu selection and the food was nicely presented

We tried three menu, 2 drinks it is delicious and big size for us.

Great for sharing and very peaceful ambience to enjoy your day with family.
Since it is in located in a forest setting there are mosquitos, bring your insect patch if u sit outdoor.

The staffs were profesional and dedicated really helpful and welcoming. Joyful group and positive attitude.

Price is affordable as it was meant for sharing as the size is big.

One of the best Victoria sponge cake I have ever had. Wanted to get a second one but when I went back it was finished. That good! Their brownies was okay. Their drinks are good. But overall the whole place and atmosphere was really nice, nature wise and very pleasant. The weather was hot though. But they had fans everywhere. When I went it was full on the inside so we had to sit outside.

I must say, The Glasshopper has improved a lot since the first time I visited. Back then the coffee tasted bitter and a little burnt, but now it’s much better 👌 (though the latte is still a bit too sweet because of the milk they use).

I also once complained about the portion of their Turkish eggs, and I’m happy to see they’ve fixed that.

The best part for me is the cakes. Since they changed to different baker (ByPadliJalil), the cakes have been absolutely delicious. That’s honestly the main reason I keep coming back.

Really hope they can maintain this quality moving forward, it makes the visits worth it every time.
