1. Food
- Ordered few coffee for 1st time (mine was Spanish Latte) with my friends. The drinks was good.
- Recommended to my friends & then I repeat for 2nd time with my other friends. We bought 2 types of flavor of their homemade bun (forgot the names) & somehow both tasted weird.
- We took a closer look at both bun & unfortunately there were spores on the bun!
- We really pissed off as we also gave it to our kid. We returned both bun & when investigate the bun was already expired.
- They apologise & offer to exchange with 2 cromboloni & we accepted it.
- Luckily nothing serious except my whole family taking turns visiting the bathroom for the whole day the next day (not sure about my friends).

2. Service
- Service was good but really dissapointed with their negligence.
- This issue should be taken seriously as it could cause serious illness & even death.

3. Atmosphere
- Cozy with air-conditioned dining area.

Tried a few simple items. Redbean bun is ok and comparable to other places. Pavlova was a disaster. Supremely eggy taste, smell and aftertaste. For a baking and dessert specialist cafe that's a disaster. Disappointed they don't have jam and butter options for the croissant. Find your niche and be excellent at it instead of relying on location just because there's always foot traffic. Dont compromise on quality it'll take a toll on your soul in the long run. Won't patronise again unless things change.

Bake & Pastries Café is definitely a must-visit! The pastries are freshly baked, perfectly flaky, and full of buttery flavor—best enjoyed with their rich and well-balanced coffee. The café has a cozy and relaxed atmosphere, making it a great spot to chill with friends or even get some work done. The staff are warm and attentive, which makes the whole experience even better. Truly a place worth coming back to! 😍🫶🏻

The place and environment are really nice. They offer a good variety of cakes, pastries, and buns. I especially love their homemade Nutella wafer and the oolong rose tea.

As a avid pastries lover, the first time i've tried their pastries in 5-6 months ago were the tarts & japanese creampuffs. Tbh, it tasted mid because lack of cheesy taste and bland also they were burnt as well. So i guess the bakers should avoid selling their burnt pastries. Plus the soft cookies aren't my cup of tea. It kinda tasted soda bicarbonate.

But for the good review, i've been there for more than 10 times already and will continue to go there hihi. So what can i say is that their pastries are improving overtime. Good job!! Tried their donut, crombolonis, crepe cake, mousse cake, pudding. All were so so gooood i swear!!!! btw excuse me for the exaggerations haha. And what i love the most is their chocolate croissanttt omg heaven on earth. But the croissant have its ups and downs actually, but sokay tho. I always teringat their choc kwasonn haihh.

Ok that's all for my honest review from yours truly. Very much hopeful that segar bakes would be sustainable cus i love this place soooo much. Thank u!

My family and I visited this cafe after lunch. We really loved the vibe and enjoyed the wide variety of cakes they offer. The cakes look incredibly delicious and visually appealing. The staff provided excellent service, and the cafe's location near a lake offers a beautiful view. It's definitely worth coming here to enjoy a lovely afternoon. However, the only downside was that the food tasted a bit too sweet, and it could become a bit overwhelming after eating too much. Considering the price, the food might not be the best value for money, but the overall vibe and experience are definitely on point.
