Had an excellent stay here. The resort is on the edge of the jungle and lots of wildlife to be seen from your balcony. The rooms were clean with good fan/AC. The showers not 100% hot but not too much of a problem in the heat. Plunge pool is like a large paddling pool but nice to cool off. The food is more expensive than other areas, but is really very good, great variety, well-cooked, and tasty, with excellent service. Walking distance to orangutan sanctuary and a short taxi to the RDC.

At arrival, you're immediately immersed in the jungle: lush greenery, colorful flowers, banana trees, palm trees, the sounds of birds and - we were lucky - even an orangutan mum with baby in the trees. We, a family of four, stayed in two basic cottages, connected by a shared entrance. The cottages were clean, the air conditioning and fan worked perfectly, and the beds were comfortable. |The open-plan restaurant is the heart is the heart of the resort. It's a very welcoming place, with delicious food and drinks and friendly service. There was plenty opportunity to play a game or just sit and read a book.|We really enjoyed the great vibe!

Excellent riverside lodge with friendly staff in a beautiful setting. The boat excursions for wildlife are the main attraction, and we saw plenty of proboscis monkeys, macaques, crocodiles, elephants, hornbills and kingfishers. The guides are incredibly knowledgeable and take care of everything. Our village room was very nice with a veranda looking into the jungle. The meals are buffet style, with a freshly prepared station that changed daily.

WOW fantastic hotel for being in the thick of the jungle.We had 4 adults and 5 children aged 7-16 in our group, something for all ages at these lodges .The staff amazingly helpful, happy and super friendly. The lodges had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Food and drinks delicious. This hotel is next door to the Orangutan sanctuary and Sun Bear sanctuary easy walking distance. So much amazing wildlife to be seen. We also went on a River cruise organized by the hotel which again we saw the most spectacular wildlife from Crocodiles, Hornbills, Monkeys, Eagles and much much more well worth going on this trip. Thank you once again for making our stay a wonderful experience. Memories for life 🦧🦜🐊🐠

Amazing location, we saw orangutan within 5 mins of following the rainforest trail within the grounds of the resort. The food was lovely, and the staff were incredibly accommodating and very aware of allergies (son is allergic to dairy and egg & I am celiac) which made it much more relaxing than expected!|The chalets are basic, but the AC in the bedroom was good, and the bathroom was clean.

We had a fantastic stay at Sepilok Rainforest Edge. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and came with much-needed air conditioning. The on-site restaurant was excellent – every meal we had was delicious.

The location couldn’t be better: just a short walk to both the Orangutan Sanctuary and the Sun Bear Conservation Park. Even without leaving the grounds, there’s plenty of wildlife to spot – during our stay we saw a snake, bullfrogs, monkeys, grasshoppers, black squirrels, and lots of other fascinating creatures.

The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The only minor downside was that the small pool was a little murky, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience.

Overall, a wonderful place to stay if you’re visiting Sepilok – highly recommended!

Je komt hier direct al in de jungle terecht: prachtig groen, mooie kleurrijke bloemen, geluiden van vogels en - wij hadden geluk! - soms ook orang-oetans in de bomen.

Wij, familie van 4, hadden twee basic huisjes, aan elkaar gekoppeld door een gezamenlijke opgang. Huisjes waren schoon, airco en fan deden hun werk, de bedden lagen goed.

Het middelpunt van het resort is het restaurant. Dit is een heel gezellige plek, met lekker eten en drinken en lieve bediening. Veel mensen zaten er met hun reisgezelschap gezellig spelletjes te doen of een boek te lezen. Er hing een heel goede vibe!
